Re: GaoGaiGar Lighting
I briefly popped in the Blu-ray and I believe it doesn't change anything, but it has a warning upfront about the lights.

Re: Earth Federation Structure
I always wondered why the leaders of the Federation are never shown. In the original Gundam you had General Revil but he was just the military leader, the civilian leadership never show up or are even mentioned. This goes on for a lot of series until I think Unicorn shows the Marcenas. I always tho...

Re: The Official Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Anime Thread Mk I
I'll admit to finding the show oddly engaging, but I agree the plot could do with more development Seriously we're at the last episode and this is only the second real battle in the series, which really isn't what you go in thinking from the pilot. Not to mention all the background dealing are more...

Re: Earth Federation Structure
From Mark Simmons' old Gundam Project site: This is the central government that rules over Earth and its space territories. The Federation Government's exact structure is unclear, and at various times it appears to be run by both a cabal of cabinet ministers and a bickering mob of demagogic politici...

Re: New Gundam Seed project; sequel movie, manga and more
Still not ALL the Earth Federation characters were bad guys at least at the start of seed It doesn't matter....your argument is still flawed. You said they seemed good at the start of SEED, but even then in the explainer of the war we already knew that they had nuked innocent civilians. They're sti...

Re: New Gundam Seed project; sequel movie, manga and more
I think the movie should be about the earth federation, they seemed like good guys at least in early SEED until we get introduced to Blue Cosmos. Destiny really emphasized ZAFT and ORB, but we never get enough of the Earth Forces, only the ONA Stargazer gave them look sympathy in there perspective....

Re: The Official Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Mecha Thread Mk I
Looks like the grunt suit we saw in episode 1 with the knuckle shield was done by Kenji Teraoka. (https://twitter.com/kanatoko28/status/1576490890209546240) It's model number is TKG-328 and the name is カペル・クゥ. I've seen some folks translate it as Kappel Kuu, but an elongated u sound for Kuu is typi...

Re: Mecha observations from G Gundam
I've often wondered why they changed that... it's not like John Bull is offensive, he's a national personification of England (specifically the everyman, rather than governmental authority like Uncle Sam is in the US) and the term "John Bull" is non-offensive slang for an Englishman. Afte...

Specificity is important... this only applies to Gundam.info, not Crunchyroll.SonicSP wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 11:56 am https://en.gundam.info/news/video-music/02_7331.html

I have the graphic novel "Tales from Year Zero" by the screenwriter of the first movie, but I haven't gotten around to reading it. Wanted to see how good that was before delving into any other tie-in material.

I was going to message you about the information being lost. I tried to recover what you previously posted via the Internet Archive, but the old thread wasn't indexed. I have all the lineart of everything that appeared in the series, but what I really could use help with is dividing the frames up by...

Re: Thunderbolt ONA?
No, there are currently no plans for additional Thunderbolt as far as we know. It was animated by Sunrise Studio 1, which is now working on Hathaway. That's going to keep them busy for years, unless Sunrise decides to reassign Thunderbolt to a different studio.

Re: Beltrochika's Children?
The entire series is only 7 volumes, so it's not like it's that huge a commitment. But COVID issues likely contributed to the delay, or maybe they adjusted their release schedule to prioritize something else more high profile.

Re: Macross 7 and Frontier Timeline.
So various Gundam series have official Timelines, as does the first Macross. So are their any official Timelines for 7 ,Frontier and Delta? Those three titles are all part of the same timeline. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel that by "timeline" OP meant a chronology of events for each series,...
