I think Rideback would count. I liked it a lot at the start but was ultimately quite disappointed by it. I think it would've worked better if it had a smaller focus as just a mecha sports story and the global military angle.

I like Venus Wars the anime, but it's a majorly reimagined story from the original manga, which in my opinion was better. There was supposed to be a regular edition this year, but that plan was presumably delayed by having to reprint all the Ultra discs and send them out to everyone who bought that version. I'd imagine the regular edition will be out later this year.

Well yeah, the entire point of the merger would be to have one larger library to dominate anime streaming. It will probably also eventually mean unifying accounts, the streaming software/backend, pricing, etc.
