(crossposting from /m/ and mechatalk?? yeah, but i figure i'd get a more serious response here.)
I want to know because I ordered them and would just like some others' thoughts on them for kicks. What are your impressions? And yes, I know Amuro dies...

Well, we know for one the Big Tray definitely can carry mobile suits on its back: look at Episode 11 of The 08th MS Team where the GM Sniper is standing on it. This also could signify that it doesn't carry a MS hangar, for in that case the MS might have been inside it, although it also could have ju...

I rather like the designs, myself. ~__~ Particularly the heads. It's nice to see something new, though the mecha designs I've always preferred have been grunts, so I'll probably withhold on judging the designs 'till I've seen some MP models. I just checked out Gunota and saw some new stuff on the m...

I love how it looked more old fashioned than it does now... those guys in AC really dig the retrofuturism. Though they did get the feel down pretty well, I think, weather should have been crappier though. And what, no Manneken Pis? C'mon... that's like having a battle in Paris and not seeing the Ei...

I'll let you know if I go there before you do. (Which a this point, seems unlikely to happen until a few weeks from now.)

Anyone been to the ImageAnime store lately?
I ask because I'll be heading there within the next week sometime and I know they're moving. Unfortunately the guy I talked with on the phone was an ass. So I ask you guys: how's their current stock of Gundam kits? I'm looking for, in particular, MGs, SEEDs, and HGUCs. About how far back does their ...

Model Stands (HGUC, MG)
What are some good MG/HGUC model stands? I understand they come with some HGUCs and MGs but can you buy them separately? if so, are they all the same and all by Bandai? If not, can anyone recommend a good, cheap one?

I never saw the *in-universe* reason for the upgrade to Fb. I mean if the RX-78 could operate equally well on earth and in space, as could the GP02... It'd be one thing if the Fb upgrade only enhanced its performance in space, but without it the GP01 was a sitting duck--it can't operate in space wit...

Federation ships and mobile suits
Semi-detour from the Birmingham thread: I know during the OYW, Salamis and Magellans didn't have MS hangars/launching equipment and thus stored the MS on the hull as seen in 0079 (and Igloo, but...). IIRC in Zeta, the only time we see a Salamis (Kai) with mobile suits is when the Mont Blanc is destr...

Wow... I don't even post daily here anymore, much less ask questions. But at least my questions, when I do ask them (which I thought was pretty rare), are always something peculiar and/or not common knowledge that are more discussion questions than fact-answering questions, like the series' budgets,...

[quote=""Kamille! Kamille!"]I drew this to try out some perspective stuff. I really don't care about the details etc at this point. Where and how badly did I screw up, and any suggestions to fix it (right shoulder, I'm looking at you). Thanks. The screw-ups look pretty minor, a littl...

Re: Gundam MK-II's Hyper Bazooka
(There's also the possibility of a retcon, but that has no bearing on in-universe facts, so please don't use that as a reason.) How can you say that? Actually, it has EVERY bearing on in-universe facts. Sometimes--no, most of the time--things are retconned without proper consideration as to their r...

I drew this to try out some perspective stuff. I really don't care about the details etc at this point. Where and how badly did I screw up, and any suggestions to fix it (right shoulder, I'm looking at you). Thanks. As it says, the reason there's nothing on the right side is that Char's face will be...
