Re: So...we'll finally see all 26 Mission Packs?

Mythsearcher to give certainly would be impossible, to speculate is quite possible and fun. Having said so, I have no idea on what could come next. My bet would be that Bandai will drop a new UC series in the 120 timeline once they get over Gundam UC 2, because the OYW and the Zeon insurrection Peri...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I

Guys check out this interview with the people behind NT https://.wordpress.com/2019/02/22/gundam-nt-behind-the-scenes-with-director-yoshizawa-shunichi-producer-ogata-naohiro/ I think it gives a very interesting insight into where is Gundam heading, they are sure taking a more creative approach than ...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Mecha Thread Mk I

The easiest explanation is that he twisted the laws of physics. I mean, sure it is unlogical but is the least unlogical of the two and according to Occam's razor principle, the least complex option is the most likely

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I

It's just me or the last trailer gives the vibes that Rita's brain was pulled from here to be inserted into a NT death machine? Surely I'm exaggerating a bit, but I'm guessing that the Phenex backstory is creepy. Aside from that, what's the deal with the psychotic Neo Zeong pilot? He sure seems like...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Mecha Thread Mk I

So guys do you think we'll see the Narrative Gundam sortie with different equipment or are these P-Bandai extra parts https://www.gundamkitscollection.com/2018/10/hguc-1144-narrative-gundam-b-packs-announced.html?m=1 something of the side story a la extra shield from Unicorn. I mean it's going to be...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I

I feel that Narrative and the Hathaway's Flash project are a means to move into the second century of UC. Maybe we'll see Dust as an anime in the next decade. Like or not, UC is the core of Gundam even if they had beat the OYW horse to death

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

It depends on the underlying technology, as UC suits used minosky physics for beam rifle. Maybe a beam saber or a plasma sword can be replicated in IBO setting, but at least I was happy on the focus on physical weapons this time around

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I

No comments from the new trailer? Sure it didn't show much but I think I saw an Albino Neo Zeong and that sure needs a real explanation because as poor as the Sleeves were, they could afford a second of those I was surprised to see Minerva on this one and no trace of Banagner, not even on the voice ...

Re: Gundam license plates

In Costa Rica plate numbers are three non vowel letters and three digits, do the most you could do is msz006.
All of cars already had plates, so on my first one - a Toyota Tercel- I put a Zeon sticker. On my second -and current Toyota Yaris- I put a New Zeon emblem

Re: What Super Robot Wars' SRX unit makes me think of

The curious thing on SRX team machine is that they are designed to change the tide of the battle, let it be as individual units or as a massive Super Robot. Truly a Dancougaresque plot device as hitokirigarou mentioned. Fortunately they are worth more each component that the typical super robot ship...

Pacific Rim Uprising

I'm surprised to not have found a thread in PR2 -my apologies if there is one but I didn't found it by browsing the site. I thought I would found a thousand commentaries on the special cameo on the final Arc of the movie. I thought it was an unnecessary movie and certainly is not on the level of the...

Re: Knight's & Magic

I like the show so far... Thank God the third episode didn't slow down like normal mecha anime - guess it might be because of the short episode count. My feeling is that Echeverría is going to end like FSS's Amateratsu of this realm: the main invincible character who designs godly machined because h...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

This episode really made me feel bad for McGIllis. He was an extremely lucky child that got the opportunity leave the streets, have a better than average education, a fulfilling job, have friends and possible a love interest. Had he being able to go beyond his childish delusions of grandeur he coul...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

I think that the Dusliff usage is unjustified. Ghallarhorn was on Naze's tail for just carrying those creepy bullets and now the main fleet happens to be carrying at least ten Dusliff launchers just in case somebody fired a nail at them. Totally unfair and corrupt. Just enough to frame Rustal as a w...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk II

I never had doubts that the Vidar had Ein's remains or that it was made from the Kimaris but I didn't hoped that we'll see it as the Kimaris again. In space with the Vijala system, it is going to be a monster grade machine. W As for Rustal, I don't see him taking to the field. He surely is the ship ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk III

I have never understand why so many people are interested in Hush. He is a character that was developed like for three episodes and then became part of the background. So far he hasn't done anything useful to move the story forward. He piloted Heijika because there wasn't any other talking extra ava...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

My guess on the AV surgery is that the pilots from the calamity war must have receive the implants as adults. Because they developed the Gundam Frame as a contingency to the Mobile Armors - surely they didn't wait for their children to grow as guinea pigs for an experimental control system. The firs...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

I got the feeling that Bael is an upgraded Barbatos - or at least a Freedom unit if the Barbatos is the Strike. It surely looks too modern compared to the rest of the "ancient" Gundam units. As for the Linker, I dig it's design. I kind of hope we got to see a couple more of Valkyries befor...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

So no comments yet for the corpse at the mining site? Sure looks like the unnamed mobile armor announced recently but I think that an MA is too big for the boys of Tekkadan to rebuilt and besides, those are mostly used by the bad guys to harass the hero. Bed that the Godfather guy is letting turning...
