Wow, the Eng translations don't cover all the JP text. But it directly answers a number of questions concerning Hashmal and the Calamity War

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I
Speaking of the Local Type, there's some other development tree or recent image of the Local Type in the same colors and carrying the same equipment as the RX-78-01 Prototype Gundam. Did anyone see that?

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk
actually the Gusion parts can fit on the old 1/100 Barbatos frame because the Gusion portion does not use the Frame legs, only the chest and arms and thighs. It is true though that the Rebake's leg frame have different slots than the Barbatos frame.

Dragging this back up since it's relevant now. Does anyone know when the Hi Nu went from purplish to purple-blue to blue without airburshing effects? The recently announced Hi-Nu Ver Ka is utilizing the color scheme last used by what I believe to be MS Illustrated 2003 or 2006. This is prior to 2009...

Re: Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mk. I
@Hellcat The HG push is only for ones that don't have models. HOWEVER Bandai Hobby Shop is also going to discount all the HG leads that are already made on there for 5%. Basically, they just want to fill in the Double X, F91, Victory, and Wing. That's not true. The 5% is just a disclaimer that the ...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Mecha Thread Mk I
Well the entire show is basically self-referencing towards the Gundam universe, i.e., Gundam is an anime within the anime, so we may see/hear the kits or characters performing and talking like how they would if in their original continuities. Things like the Blue Destiny we saw in the trailer the gi...

Actually the build strike is a completely new mold. The only thing it might share are some parts from the oowashi akatsuki pack.

Comparison of Wings and Wing Zeros
There's a number of interesting ways they can go about the backstory for this in the GoL manga. The current scans of the Proto Zero are just comments on the design aesthetics for the MG release, with no actual information to go with the fiction.

Re: Katoki and his influence?
He was basically assigned by Bandai to do the GFF series, then when that series got kinda terminated, he was moved to work on MG and Ka composites and stuff, that mostly are redesigning. So, like I said earlier, he can design things, but he got his limits, his designs are usually not giving strong ...

Re: HG Double Ball Joints - Now I see why they never caught
Use some Pledge with Future floor shine or any sort of tile acrylic coat on the joint. What this will do is put some friction on the area. ABS plastic provides rigidity and is stronger structurally than polystyrene. However because these are model kits and are likely to be painted, ABS plastic is mo...

Let me clarify, the Popular Edition is the smaller almost 300 page version that only has color pictures. The "+ Drawing" is the Popular Edition + the black and white lineart, correct?
