Re: Athrun's most and least powerful units?(SPOILER)

More likely to be Soul Lancer sneak in Gundam. Pretty sure it is just a Gaplant Gundam. That's Messala... Since we bring it up, I remember read it somewhere that Fujita originally design it as non-transformable MA but it got rejected since it doesn't look like Gundam mech (too much like GERWALK, it...

Re: Athrun's most and least powerful units?(SPOILER)

The answer to a question like this is pretty much always going to be "whichever one they used last"... because there's almost never a de-escalation of conflict in Gundam . Well, the conflict might only get worse but so is pilots' luck. That being said, the only official exceptions I can think of ar...

And as I noted, his version doesn't has it.

Plus, even if we acept that Epyon has vulcan guns, it fire off-screen so nobody know where they're mounted.

It will probably show up in one of the mangas on Gundam Ace--or maybe it already has, and us English-speaking fans have no idea.
It's stated to be from Eclipse.

Re: Questions regarding the SRW Huckebein

Fan theory contribute it to White Fang modification. Despite the Huckebein having vulcan guns mounted in the head, its line art and toys / model kits don't have visible gun ports. Looks over to Epyon. Typical Katoki. Ahem. TV Epyon is Okawara's, Katoki Epyon instead got the Sturm und Drang (which, d...

Re: Practicality of Seatbelts in Zero Gravity

Not for mobile fighter, however. Actually, they really need to have something fixing the pilot in the middle of the cockpit. The MF is roughly 10 times the height of the pilot. So when the pilot takes a step, the MF will be moving 10 times the speed of the pilot. If your step is 50cm, the MF will h...

3. Jegan => Prototype Stark Jegan => Stark Jegan
More like this (as far as I understand). They develope Prototype Stark Jegan from normal Jegan, then made the Jegan Type D from Jegan so it would be easier to modify it into Stark Jegan.

Re: The Official Gundam Breaker Battlogue Anime Thread Mk I

Well, I say it's overall fun. I guess it would work better if I play the games, but since I don't, only Mahara and Takuma are truly memorable. Takuma is more or less Meijin/Kyoya of this series, the unquestionable best fighter of their home series (and it help that Takuma only use Awaken Mode for st...

Re: How thin can we make pilot suits?

Very thin. Try look up Sayaka Yumi's Artemis A's pilot suit in Shin Mazinger Zero, or the Mazinsaga version. As for what's required for a pilot suit, it's depend on the story. For examples, VangRay from SRW V boast the cockpit with highest safety that it dpesn't require pilot suit at all. While Seri...

Re: Gundam Side Material?

The only side material that's close to be "essential" IMO, is Astray to SeeD. Simply because it plug a big hole (how Kira's survive Aegis' self-destruct) that has meaningful impact to the series, and the itself offer no alternate explanation. Still, it's just "close". And with Mu survive in GSD, Kir...

Dug up, because I think Godannar deserve a mention as pioneer of giving jiggle physics to female mech. And they actually justify it somewhat, female mech get inside their male partner when combined, so parts of female mech, especially the chest, are made from gel-like material.

And for once it's how good deed come back to bite their ass. IIRC, they have to cancel Flint's sale because the machine is associated with CV pirates. Then they made the Record Breaker and it end with complete disaster (can't blame them for this one though).

Re: Rick Dias and Nemo

Considering most of the final mass-production units are still designed and developed by AE (all those RGM), I'd say they are still pretty competent, just that EF isn't competent enough to pay for better toys. True, but from the POV of SNRI (which were researchers then), Heavygun is such a disappoin...

Re: Rick Dias and Nemo

. SNRI seems to be more of a "if we are funding someone, might as well be our own guys" type of mentality. Huh? I think SNRI become manufacturer themselves when they realize how Anaheim become incompetent as a developer, after they took so long to made the Heavygun and it's essentially just a small...

why didn't ZAFT just make more?
Terminal also delete the data from ZAFT's database. Since nobody at ZAFT aware that it was stolen design, I guess they either assasinate or kidnap the people who originally worked on the design.
