Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mark II
I'm surprised Reiji and the other guy could go 400 rounds without damaging eachother's gunpla...unless they took breaks to fix them.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Third Generation
Interesting to find out why its actually called "Mars Rays", though I find Flit helping the Vagans avoid dieing from them rather surprising. Maybe his grandson begged him to do it.
I'm not even sure EVERS can even properly call itself an acronym.

Re: Valvrave The Liberator
The design looks nice, but there's really nothing to go by atm.
Even if Liberator/Revolutionary did mean civil war, doesnt mean imposing government couldnt have crazy monster of the weeks.
The only visible weapons on the art/video are the Valvrave's claws atm, and maybe those weird wings.

Meanwhile, on the real Mars, the Curiosity rover's discovered the the radiation levels are survivable . Science shoots AGE in the foot. :P I guess the Mars Rays were supposed to be some kind of Star Trek radiation anyway. Or maybe they're lieing so people will want to put money into building space ...

I'm guessing it explores the pre-silver chalis era?HellCat wrote:They could do a sequel that addresses the weird time travel angle Treasure Star brought in.
Seriously, I don't think even the Gundam standard on 'canon' is flexible enough for that sidestory.
Cause that'd be cool, even without the time travel.

I'm going to guess that Yui is some sort of ghost of that girl who died when Kirito first joined a guild.

I took it as being merely symbolic. I really doubt that many of his ex-comrades would actually be jeering at him from beyond the grave.
The only ones that expressed resentmen toward zeheart in life were Zanald and Desil.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-8
I think it was a pretty good episode over all, though tragic deaths is one thing AGE has been pretty good at all this time. I actually felt bad about the ship blowing up. Darkhound vs Legilis definitely should have been longer, but over all I understand Zeheart wasn't thinking straight. He didnt eve...

So the actually somewhat human vagan team ends up dieing with the last pilot going crazy in a giant lemon drill. I'd say he was probably my least favorite part of the whole episode, but I liked Deen and Kio's scene. I especially liked how it showed how Deen was more caught up in the moment rather th...

THE IMMORTAL PATRICK COLASAUR and LUCKIEST WOMAN ALIVE KATI MANNEQUIN. There. Fixed. And yes, their love is something to be treasured. A real, bravado man's and a caring woman's LOVE! Whats kinda sad is that even with a only a few token moments, and not having much of any plot significance beyond b...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
Fram is actually growing on me... I fear we are in for yet another tragic female/love interest/sacrifice death. A thought: Kill 'em all Zeheart vs Kill 'em all Flit, Fram dies protecting Zeheart, Zeheart realizes he's crazy, Flit realizes he's become the monster he set out to stop, and everyone com...

Re: Gundam cliches you could do without?
What if we like, had a Gundam series where, like, the Gundam was just another war machine? You know, like U.C, A.W (kinda) and even C.E? Putting so much importance on Gundams as a concept (Wing, 00 and AGE. G not really, because that wasn't a war story) never really jived with me. I mean, I know wh...

the book starts in the 70snfloor wise, so... To explain the mmorpg terms of color coded names, sao is actually an unlimited pk server, so anyone outside a safezone is vulnerable. When you open an attack on another player you get orange-tagged, which goes away with time,,,, and if you get last attac...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
Oh I'm sure it could be done, 'cause one of the frustrations I keep having with this show is that I see so much potential for different plots and then they go nowhere. In other words, they should never have let this Hino guy be the writer. I agree with this. I mean 8th Ms Team and War in the Pocket...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
While it would be cool, and maybe possible given his previous (and well grounded, I mean, Zeheart keeps getting promoted yet he hasnt had a victory yet) dislike for Zeheart, it just seems too shocking and maybe surprising (in a good way) for AGE to do. Maybe he'll help hold up Second Moon (CCA style...

Its really telling how much depth in mechanics there is when 00 has like 18 threads worth of mechanics discussion, while AGE has 3, the third of which is currently on two pages.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
One thing thats been buggin me the most about Elcazant's power point presentation, is that until the Vagans attacked the earth sphere had had 100 years of peace. The only reason why humanity is fighting again is because Elcazant rallied all the vagans behind him and made them attack earth. I mean, i...

I will say despite my previous comment, I'm rather enjoying this series more than .hack, it seems more focused on characters and mmo mechanics (as well as the different mechanics needed for a VR based RPG), whereas .hack never really felt like an actual MMO to me, and spent alot of time on major bug...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread AGE-7
ironically, putting Zeheart in charge of all of Vagan just proves once and for all that Ezelcant doesn't care about the Vagan people And apparently neither does Zeheart, he just does stuff to imitate char and various char-like characters. Is he going to remember the names of every vagan he killed f...
