Re: No YF-20?

The reason is probably rooted in how the US Military bids contracts. When the military wants a new plane/tank/ship/anything they develop a spec (i.e. carries 10000lb of weapons and can go mach 2) that is published for various companies to bid on. Any company can present an interest bid, and start to...

Well it seems like we finally have our masked villian a la iron mask in Graham who once again proves that a broken normal suit, the vacuum of space, massive injuries and your suit exploding are nothing in the face of plot needs.

The VSBR could be considered shotgun esque since the wide beam is meant for high damage stopping power.

A complete PG model collection. While the time investment would be huge you could rest assured in you supreme awesomeness.

The Last episode was quite enjoyable. Something I wouldn't mind hearing discussed would be how you feel mech series have progressed thematically, scientifically, and how characters in them a evolved over the years.

This blows, I mean while I have felt like the last few books slowed waaay down I still enjoyed reading them and was looking forward to the next ones. This is really lame. What did he die from?

I would get it for sure. The series was good, and at that price, I would buy almost anything. Its got mecha and monsters, but with a tone that shifts between light and dark a number of times.

The whole show was just great. A few weeks ago I was at my friends house, he has one of those Tivo-type deals and we watched an episode with boomerang on-demand. It was so cool to relive the good ol days.

Well thats why I said something like a Public, I know their tin cans, thats why you build a better Public. Having something like the GP-02 as a support MS is crazy, since all the extra armor and cooling systems would be useless in a non-nuclear role. You're better off going with a well designed chea...

Well re-entry is of course the harder of the two operations. On a side note shouldn't all CE suits with PS armor be able to make re-entry? As long as they had full batts? In fact didn't Kira do that when he came down to JOSHA in the Freedom? Shoot the NJC should make entering the atmosphere cake.

Even in a support role you'd be better off using something like a Public, since its soooo much cheaper.

I was totally and completly pleased with the job they did. It was funny, serious and freaking action packed. The only gripe I had was that Optimus's mouth cover wasn't always up and I got over that pretty quick.

The mounting points are different for the sillouette packs and the wizard packs and the striker packs. The Astray Out Frame normally equips strikers but Lowe or someone essentially built a wizard striker pack that allows the ZAFT packs to be equipped. There is lineart for it in the Destiny Astray se...

It doesn't make any sense to make the suit weaker for new recruits, I mean if they're going to do something like that why not put them in GINNs? Plus no military in the world sends you into combat in a trainer (except when EXTREMELY desperate) which ZAFT clearly wasn't at the time.

Well its also been stated before that the Mecha designer for 0080 prefered more realistic style weapons since that was how he did things for Patlabor. A more in universe explanation could be for deception purposes, looking at it you might expect a stream of 90mm shells, so you position your shield a...

Well by the animation the GM's always lose out but this is usually explained by the Zeon's having better pilots and plot development. I think that if you had equal pilots the GM Kai would win since that varient still had a beam gun and shield. And the vulcans aren't useless since they could take out...
