I shall third Majestic Prince and while not mecha, the sci-fi anime Parasyte: The Maxim seems poised to be good from little I've seen.Darkhound Noir wrote:I'd second Majestic Prince. That show was a fun romp last year and way better than expected.Destiny_Gundam wrote:Some recent titles: Majestic Prince and Valvrave. Guilty Crown is fine too. The latter pair are quite controversial so it'd be neat to hear your takes on them. Not to mention they're from the same mind as Code Geass.

If there is going to be candidates for future Anime Toilet segments, I'm surprised no one mentioned Aldanoah Zero.

+1 for Shin Mazinger. You guys haven't done any Mazinger and Shin Mazinger is short, self contained and lots of fun. It would certainly test the waters for future Mazinger series reviews.
Even as we speak, the stealth bombers of the Brotherhood of Dada are swooping silently overhead. They’re using stealth bombs which level whole cities without even the slightest trace of noise or damage. Nothing remains of the world you knew and still you stand in the ruins, acting as if nothing has changed.

Ghost in the Shell: Arise, plus Ghost In the Shell The New Movie, which is the finale of Arise.
Seeing people for who they are; not who you think they are, not what you want them to be. Seeing someone unconditionally, without paranoia, without prejudice, without stereotypes, without fear...That's what "love" is.
"Love" is looking into a person's eyes and seeing a soul.

Doamaiger D the confectionery-making super robot of Kyoto.
side note: the episodes are short, probably about Gundam-san length.

Now that it's out on DVD, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of Cross Ange.

Would you consider reviewing AKB0048? It has mecha in it, and was directed by Shoji Kawamori.
