Re: Ep. 125 - Not Even Justice!
I really love Dougram, I put it just below Gundam, VOTOMS and Vifam as one of my favorite real robot shows. Crim is a really likeable character and is a one of the more level headed main characters in real robot shows.
You also gotta give him credit for escaping out of real bad situations on foot plenty of times. Of course not on the level of Chirico but still mad props to Crim.

Dougram sounds interesting but I could swear it sounds like a show you reviewed previously.

Re: Ep. 125 - Not Even Justice!
Would Gergio count as a Soul Bro's man? He was kind of a loser and didn't really add much to the Fang of the Sun group except hitting on a busty chick and argue with Heckle.
Also, didn't Neo say there was something about J Locke being kind of a opportunist during the livestream? It makes sense when you think about it. He never really helped out except when the rebels were doing alright.
Although the animation for the mecha went all over the place during the middle of the show, so did the character animation. I remember when Crim, with his nipples sticking out, looked like he came out of Fist of the North Star.

After hearing about Dougram for years from various sources, your review finally made me track down and watch the first episode and I'm hooked - thanks guys! I also pulled an old Dougram model out of storage and am cleaning it up a bit.

Really?! I don't even know how to address that comment. Bizarre.Arbiter GUNDAM wrote:Dougram sounds interesting but I could swear it sounds like a show you reviewed previously.
Well, we do our reviews off the cuff and don't have any talking points prepared prior. So, when we speak the flow of the conversation can go anywhere. During our review, nothing went towards J. Locke as a character and to be honest I didn't bring it up because we went in other directions.yazi88 wrote: Also, didn't Neo say there was something about J Locke being kind of a opportunist during the livestream? Re: Ep. 125 - Not Even Justice!
My first encounter with Dougram was through the video game Brave Saga 2. I didn't really care much until it came out as a Revoltech and I skimmed through a few eps. I do hope to marathon this show one day and if the Master Grade or a Perfect Grade Shows up I know I will be getting that.

Re: Ep. 125 - Not Even Justice!
Nope they never covered Dougram in the past, it's only been mentioned in passing in various segments. My only exposure to Dougram was building one of those OLD Revell ROBOTECH kits that were basically rebranded Dougram kits, this was the actual one I madeArbiter GUNDAM wrote:Dougram sounds interesting but I could swear it sounds like a show you reviewed previously.

All I will say in brief is this episode was rather funny in the opening segments and Dougram sounds like a great series to watch considering when it was made.
