Besides Amuro and Char/Quattro, do you have 100% in all the other pilots routes? The Garma route Odessa mission is how I unlocked my last 17% for Amuro & Char/Quattro. However, there may have been a few other missions you must complete along with that specific mission. Or it could be a problem with the game itself. Sometimes games glitch up & screw you over. Usually the only solution for this problem is to restart the game from the beginning, although I've never had this problem with GvsZG.

I've got 100% on both the titans and axis as well as all but amuro for AUEG(sp?).

Did you do the mission with Sayla & Lalah where you have to kill both? I believe it's the OYW mission that causes a split if you don't kill Lalah.

Amuro's. One of Char's missions also has the same requirement.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. I was mostly focusing on what I personally had trouble figuring out for almost a year (seriously, I had no idea Garma's route had anything to do with it until I destroyed the Gundam).

Everything is like AceWhatever said. You might like the last few missions, as they mostly follow the CCA story with improvised characters and MS.

I need some help for two Gundam games. In Encounters in Space. I have completed every mission in every mode with at least an A rank, and I am pretty sure that I completed all of the missions in mission mode, and for some reason, I cannot unlock the Public assault ship. Could this be a case of the game glitching up and screwing me over by not giving me anything?

I also am wondering if the RX-78 Gundam Char custom is really in the game, because there is only one unknown slot left in the MS viewer which I am assuming is for the Public that I have yet to unlock.

As I have recently bought Journey to Jaburo for the second time, I am wondering if all the rumors of Wing Gundam being in the game are true. I seriously doubt that it is, but I just want confirmation.

And in a non-Gundam related game, The Suffering, I am having trouble finding the bike pump to make the flamethrower, can anyone who plays this game give me some help?

EDIT: NVM, I found the pump.

The public is stupidly difficult to unlock, especially considering what a useless unit it is. To get it, you have to do the Battle of Loum mission a bunch of times until you beat it on the highest difficulty or something like that.

As for Char's Gundam, it is not in the American release of the game. Instead, we get the duo of MS from Seed, G, and EW.

Thanks. You're right, the damn thing's about as useless as the Jicco, but at least I have a full list of units now.

I can't get an S rank on program 3 of Zeonic Front. Equipment is not an issue - i have gone through the game twice. I can blow through all the enemies with only 1 Dom and not take any hits, but I just can't get any higher then B rank. I've tried doing the crap the Gamefaqs walkthrough suggests, but its just not working.

EDIT: Okay, i managed an A rank that time through, but thats not good enough

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

Does anyone know where I can find the answers to the expert terminal quiz in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2? I'd greatly appreciate even a partial list.
I am a Zeon pilot.
Those who launch with me will be protected.
Those who launch against me will be destroyed.
Any questions?

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

There's a topic on GameFAQs about this particular issues. (Note that the initial answers may not be correct as other users made corrections later in the thread.)

EDIT: I found another more straightforward thread with answers that are, according to the thread starter, taken and translated (and adapted for DW:G2) from the JP Gundam Musou 2 wiki.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

I don't want to double post in the other thread again, so I guess I'll put this here.

I'm playing through Last Raven currently, and I've beaten three of the endings so far and have yet to feel satisfied with any of the endings. What the heck is the big deal with this huge attack vertex is supposed to launch? Is there an ending I havent beaten yet in which they actually manage to launch their attack and wipe out the alliance? Should anyone want to help me, post in the PS2 AC discussion thread so we can continue there without me having to keep double posting.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

I recently picked up Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2. (yeah, yeah, slowpoke)

It's been fun for the most part, but whoever thought mobile armors were a good idea needs to die a painful death. It's a good idea in theory, but the implementation is so awful that it kills the fun of an entire level. Nothing can do more than chipping damage, not even charge or SP attacks. I was able to take down the Psyco during Cammy's one-on-one with it, but all my subsequent encounters upped the ante by dumping a mobile armor on an AI-controlled partner who has to survive the mission if you want to win. This wouldn't be so bad if the AI's strategy didn't boil down to flinging themselves against the mobile armor like a gnat against a brick wall. I can't tell you how depressing it is to watch Puru go charging in against the Psyco Gundam Mk II as it builds up its super-cheap 360-degree attack and know there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop her from dying a fiery death just when you're a stone's throw away from finishing the Mk II off.

tl;dr I'm getting mauled by mobile armors on escort missions. Help?

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

@Imperial: Yeah, sometimes MA boss fights can be too easy or just too outrageously difficult. EVERY single time I got 'Game Over' was due to the same situation you mentioned.

Player 1 (me) fights MA boss X. Ally 1 joins in. Failure condition just happens to include the Defeat of Ally 1. Ally 1 charges in despite an obviously powerful attacking coming up from MA boss X. Ally 1 gets damaged (badly) yet still charges in. Ally 1 dies. 'Game Over' and Haro taunts you.

If you're using a Class 1 Mobile suit (e.g. Gundams and advanced suits), you really need to use the Smash attacks. (the one where you hold the X or Square button; 360 & PS3 respectively) Hitting a suit when you see the green triangles with a Smash knocks 'em to the ground, allowing you to do further damage. (This is when you can use an SP attack; it'll have more green triangle/arrow indicators while it's down) You can also use Smash attacks to interrupt attacks, which is what I did IF my ally that I need alive is about to be wasted.

(The problem with that method is that you can only get one or two additional hits in before the arrows disappear.)

You can also set things by 'delaying' your ally by conquering respective fields and making sure your ally doesn't go down from grunt suits. (which can happen, sad to say) So by the time they come charging into the MA boss field, you already have a bit of time to damage it.

For Class 2 (basic melee/charge moveset and no Smash) and 3 (all other grunt suits), using Musou-I mean, SP attacks when the green arrows are lit is the best tactic, considering that each SP attack only uses one gauge (out of a possible 3) rather than the whole gauge like Class 1 suits.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

I have a quick question in regards to Super Robot Wars W. What is that little counter that goes from 0-3 for when you are picking your Spirit Commands prior to starting a New Game+? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: never mind, I got the answer already.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

So out of boredom and to get myself ready for the new game, i went and found Mechwarrior 4 mercenaries. I installed it on my computer and promptly got my ass kicked on the second mission by that Red Argus.

I'd like to think that part of my problem is that i'm playing on a laptop, so i don't have a full number pad off to the right. I improvised best i could using what i have, but i'd like something better to use then my jury-rigged laptop. Can anyone recommend me a good joystick, or anything better then what i currently have. I'll be getting my new desktop by the end of the week, so are the regular controls with the number pad any better to use? Any general advice/tactics would also be appreciated.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

I hate joystick... Once I've invested lots of money to buy the top product from well-known brand, it still doesn't live up to the job. Yes it vibrates, yes it does have awesome selection and placement of buttons, yes it have very good design and hand grip. Still.. it won't stabilize itself. Tried other brand, same problem. Advance calibration doesn't work, Update won't help, tech support not solving the problem.

Just avoid joystick for non-aeroplane simulation game. for MW4 you'll end up with torso and legs getting annoying non-stop rotating and moving either to the left or to the right after each single movement.

Just assign the keys you needed on other keys or buy some separate usb numpadkeys. You only need the buttons to rotate the torso anyway, other are just the standard up down left right buttons, which you should already have.

MW tactics are basically variation of the dance of death. Advance method like death_from_above is too risky for campaign. mmm, I did finished MW4 Merc in all difficulties settings. Some stages are challenging, some are plainly excruciating but all are good fun. If this is your first MW game, learn the chassis and weaponry characteristics. End gamers usually only use several type of weaponry that suits their mech type and gameplay style.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)

I've gotten a much better grip on the game since my last post. I used the AWSD buttons for my turning and throttle and the arrow keys for twisting. My weapons are the B through / keys, which make fighting interesting, because I havent gotten good enough to be twisting and maneuvering at the same time, so for the most part i can only do one or the other while trying to aim.
