Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

The main reason he's leaving is because his Contract expires in december.

His name being removed from the game and everything about it is more so about white washing the product. Konami doesn't want Metal Gear Solid V, the ONLY big and major title coming out to be seen as a "Hideo Kojima" game, instead, they want it to be seen by the world as a "Konami" title. Because lets face it, and no one can deny this, Konami doesn't have **** without Metal Gear and Kojima. Hideo Kojima IS Metal Gear.

As to continueing metal gear, Konami has already released a statement that they're looking for new staff for the next metal gear game. Which is sad. Kojima isn't even in his corporate grave yet and Konami is already acting like he's dead.

And just a reminder, Konami hsa done this exact same thing before, making new games on their own of old series without the creators. And they were all total ****ing garbage. Castlevania, Silent Hills, and many, many others.
