Gundam Vs. Series Discussion Topic

Well, Namco Bandai have been a bit more open lately about bringing more of their IPs overseas these days especially with Tales. Unlike a couple of years ago (from Vesperia up till Dark Souls), they are doing rather well in the US anyways.

But with Bandai Entertainment dead here there is no way to even garner attention to Gundam these days on a official level. If Bandai Entertainment was still around there could've been a small chance that they might've used Extreme Vs to nudge people to buy the Dvds/Blu-rays.

If you can, try to get a hold of Namco Bandai producer Harada, he's pretty cool and he was the main driving force to bring over Project Cross Zone which no one saw coming. It never hurts to try anyways.

Well the thing with Project X/Cross Zone was, I did see that coming it got a bit of a push.
Also I believe Operation Rainfall got behind it and helped get it attention with a Facebook page and all of that.
So perhaps they might be a worthy option to consider?

I used to have a show called Mobile Suit Highlights on YouTube under my old YouTube account (kirinfangEXVS) in an attempt to get Gundam Extreme Vs. players more familiarized with specific units in the game. I would say that this is one of the main ways.
But when streams are done, the host of that(SoulBroRyu), rarely posts on mechatalk.
The other main thing would be MAHQ's Facebook page.
Not everyone posts here or on the Facebook Page.

So yeah it's a little scatterbrainned

I don't even know what to make of this but some sites are claiming the Johnny Ridden's Zaku II and a Lacus piloted Infinite Justice will be DLC. Naturally I'm skeptical.

Johnny Ridden Zaku and Lacus Infinite Justice sounds quite a bit like bogus to me. Not even plausible.

Well, Ridden's Zaku isn't THAT bad. But adding in another Infinite Justice (especially a 1000-cost version per the rumor) is another thing entirely.

I stand corrected. The Johnny Ridden Zaku II in retrospect seems ok but another Infinite Justice that's a lower cost? That's just weird.

Looks like this will be the 3rd Zaku II added to the Gundam Vs series, the other 2 being Char's Zaku II and Bernie's Zaku II Kai.

Lacus is still pretty popular if I'm not mistaken. Of course if another Seed character were to be added I figure Cagalli would've made more sense.

It all depends on if the rumors are true that Naomi Shindoh doesn't like playing Cagalli due to a personal beef with Morosawa (that supposedly runs all the way back to Mai-HiME) and due to how both she herself and the character were treated so poorly during Destiny.

All I can say is, if it weren't for the fact that I was going to do instructional videos for Full Boost, I wouldn't touch Lacus' I-J with a fifty-foot anti-ship pole. You'll notice that its moveset is almost identical to Athrun's, but with Strike Freedom swapped in as its assist and Burst Attack.

Ridden's Zaku tho, I'll definitely grab. He's the Red Comet, you know. :V
