About the new G-Gundam manga

I learned through pictures in the latest G-Gundam manga by Gundam Wiki that:

The pilots of the Zeus, Jester, and Cobra Gundams survived the Battle Royale to join the Gundam Federation, as opposed to the TV series. Not only that, they were joined by Chico Rodriguez who is supposed to be declared dead by the Neo Mexico government.

I wonder what more differences in the manga they made from the series.

I only finish the first arc, but there're lot of improvement. Overall plot is still similar, but the detail is greatly diiferent. For example, Chapman was really dead as a hero. He missed George on purpose, and actually fight Domon without using drug.
