A couple of interesting updates courtesy of the booklet in this months Gundam Ace:
KUDELIA AINA BERNSTEIN
A young girl involved in the Martian independence movement. In the past, she successfully convened the "Noachis July Assembly," a gathering of independence movements, which attracted attention from various states (official site says fronts?). In order to negotiate with the government of Arbrau on Earth, she commissioned the CGS to escort her there.

So we are finally getting some Gundam on Crunchyroll then? About time. Also another couple of days cannot wait!Arbiter GUNDAM wrote:[MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Iron-Blooded Orphans]

I wonder if that showing of Reconguista is going to be Subbed like the Gundaminfo showing was and if they are going to change the local for Gundaminfo back to the normal.

Damn, I wish Iron-Blooded Orphans wasn't airing on Sunday. It's the day before work. I would've liked it to air on Friday or Saturday instead.
I prefer to watch things like anime when work isn't the next day, and I wanna watch IBO episode 1 as soon as it's released. Oh well. I'm so freaking hyped for IBO! Can't wait!

Show starts in just a few days and we still haven't had much previews. What's up with that? Why the lack of footage?

Are you sure about Crunchyroll? Crunchyroll is reporting about these Gundams coming to the other sites. No mention of themselves or FUNI.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk
Well crap like this is what gets me really upset. One group here saying this and all we get from another is it's inaccurate or silence. They should get their stuff together and have a concise news release that is the same in every site it's released on. This is one of the many reasons Gundam's fan base grows at a slow crawl. Sorry for the rant. I'll stop now. I hope things work out despite the conflicting news. Oh and isn't about time for a Mk II thread?

There have been three different previews, the most recent of which was a few days ago. Just because you missed it doesn't mean they don't exist.Gundam0089 wrote:Show starts in just a few days and we still haven't had much previews. What's up with that? Why the lack of footage?

I've seen them, just a little lame they haven't really shown much aside from the same old things. But with the show airing in the next few days, guess it doesn't matter.

They're airing it on Hulu? Well that's certainly a first for Gundam... 0_o;
As for PV... I think he is referring to a lack of a "dubbed" preview. We've only gotten musical ones, which seems a bit odd if you ask me.

What I mean really is just a preview that shows some mobile suit exposition. In terms of MS action, we only have 2 scenes. The Graze kicking a mobile worker, and then the Barbatos flying around like a ninja.

I'll agree that we've seen very little in terms of marketing material, especially compared to other shows.

Should we take this as a bad or good sign? Any past examples for reference?

Ugh. Usually I like Gundam OPs to a variety of levels but this...gah...It really isn't to my taste I just hope any other OP for this series is better.

You guys sure about this, though? I can't find any actual sources corroborating the opening music. That video looks like a random fan on YouTube set all the trailer footage to their own choice of song.Deathzealot wrote:Ugh. It seems like a completely unremarkable choice for an OP. Not really anything interesting.
Oh, and Crunchyroll simulcast was today officially confirmed on their site. No need to worry about inconsistencies, folks, they were just a little later in making the announcement themselves.

Yeah, and the second OP will be from either Rick Astley or Darude.
