After reading this thread I have to ask, where would Gundam Wing fit into all this?

Ignoring Frozen Teardrop, I'd definitely say it's a very idealistic series. Things like Treize fighting to show people the cost of war, the Sanc Kingdom doing Sanc Kingdom things, and Endless Waltz in general, are all rather idealistic.
