I almost expected Krein to evolve like how Jialt did. Ah well.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
All I have to say is, you don't see shankings like that in anime often let alone mecha...

Quote of the episode: "I-I heard something I shouldn't have!"
You got that right, man. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy too.
Well, I was right in saying the Wulgaru would target the academy. However, Team Rabbit saved the day...barely. Loved the way they got chewed out for the expensive victory, then got their lollies for being good kids. It was too bad about Rose Three, but at least its sacrifice was not in vain. (Tamaki had me in stitches with her pleas for her unit to fly straight. ) All that worrying about Team Doberman, and their only loss was Patrick's enthusiasm for Tamaki. Doesn't mean next episode will be any safer though... I expect next episode there will be a brother-sister reunion of sorts?

Oh, and in case you guys didn't notice, Klein has the same voice actor as Kio from Gundam AGE. So now all you haters can imagine Kio getting stabbed repeatedly and then blasted from orbit.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
From what I remember of Klein in the last time I watched, he was pretty impressive. Never would have guessed the same VA did Kio Asuno.Destiny_Gundam wrote:Oh, and in case you guys didn't notice, Klein has the same voice actor as Kio from Gundam AGE. Not...gonna..watch.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Sad episode,
Spoiler
Patrick and Randy of Doberman bought the farm. Although it was very obvious this episode with them watching porn again. The 3rd member Rakesh survived. Poor Tamaki, Randy was just about to confess to her. Randy went out like a senpai should, like a badass.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
In the middle of watching episode 19... so damn many death flags... so damn many...
Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
You got the names mixed up in the spoiler but I agree 1000x fold.yazi88 wrote:Sad episode,Spoiler

Spoiler
Considering his genre-savvy commentary a few episodes ago, he should've realized he was doomed when he promised to come back and tell her.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Yeah, all the death flags were painful. I thought they were gonna be aware of it due to their reaction to Patrick's comment, but they kept triggering them anyways. I guess it's surprising that
Spoiler
Rakesh survived seeing as the "gonna get married when the war is over" thing is the #1 death flag. Though he might have died at the very closing of the episode.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Have we established that Ange has multiple personality disorder not actually linked to his AHSMB yet? Because seriously, he/she is creepy in ALL THE WEIRD WAYS.
Watching: Black Bullet, The World is Still Beautiful, Brynhildr in the Darkness, Captain Earth, The Irregular at Magic High School

Then in that case I guess he/she/it is inappropriate. Ange is a 'they'.Compass wrote:Have we established that Ange has multiple personality disorder not actually linked to his AHSMB yet? Because seriously, he/she is creepy in ALL THE WEIRD WAYS.

Its been updated, they are considering a second season, although if it does come to pass... sweet!!Strike Zero wrote:W00t!
That being said, the fact that it is on the table does sort of make me worried we are heading for one of those 'Just stop' endings, with plot lines still in the air, a lot of anime have these days due to being based on still ongoing sources that haven't reached their conclusion yet.
Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
So I caved and watched episodes 17-19. Yeah, well shoot me already. Klein's battle was epic, but I had to laugh at how Team Rabbits inadvertently damaged the school so badly, enough to nearly destroy it.
Overall I must confess that these few episodes were actually a bit lackluster for me, don't know why. I got to learn where the female Wulguru's awesome phoenix machine was all this time, guarding the all-important gates, but she doesn't even finish the job and a member of Dobberman lives. How cute, now suffer and die like you're supposed to, crazy woman! You failed in your mission!

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
It's because too much action, not enough plot. We already know how good they are at their fight sequences. But other than that, it feels like they're just fighting for fighting's sake. And adding drama for drama's sake. The fight with Klein was super-drawn out, for example.
I don't mind it, it just feels like... well let's see... like watching Kio's arc in Gundam AGE and just asking when the next big thing that isn't Gundamstomp will happen.

Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Did you, good sir, just liken Majestic Prince to Kio's arc of Gundam AGE?
Consider yourself lucky that I can't reach through my computer screen and slap you until you fall out of your chair.

Be forewarned, the enraged fandom will smite you. There's plenty of emtion going on, it's just that not a lot happened overall in those episodes. A little plot drag is fine! And I happened to enjoy the drawn-out fight, thank you very much.Compass wrote:It's because too much action, not enough plot. We already know how good they are at their fight sequences. Well, we all saw this coming that Izuru was

created from Teora's DNA but also from Commander Simon! Asagi as well. Izuru and Asagi are brothers! Also not surprising.
Re: Galaxy Kikotai: Majestic Prince
Frankly the later part of that caught me by surprise. Izuru stole the episode with his line at the end though.yazi88 wrote:Well, we all saw this coming that Izuru wasSpoiler
