Well they're only human you know.
For myself, I was kind of disappointed when they revealed Tali's face but even MORE so when fans found out they just photoshopped some random pic from Google image search. I dunno, I guess I just wanted them to have done just a little more.

Well, I wouldn't go THAT far. We did get the Citadel DLC out of them and that, as far as I'm concerned, is the "actual"ending for the game.
