Awww. I was hoping at least one of you played a Mechwarrior game. There was four Mechwarrior FPS games on PC and 2 Mechcommander strategy games. I think they even had a game based on the franchise on the SNES.

They didn't lift the designs. They paid for them. But copyright legalese ensued and HG ended up with it. So in the end they don't have those designs anyway. At least...not in those incarnations. There are some designs that are an "homage", if you will, of those. :3
