-Hellbore-

Hellbore had been wandering around the ship after the weird incident with Mike in the infirmary. He had been suffering from a weird buzzing in his ears for some time now and it had finally died down not to long ago as he moved away from the more populated areas.

Missing company after a while, he had felt the need to return to the hanger where he ran into Wingnut supervising a team of men sealing all the exits. He walked up the the man and asked half-jokingly, "Why so serious?"

Seeing the lack of reaction, Hellbore lowered his voice, realizing something must of happened. "More seriously this time, he asked, "What did I miss?"

-Kirie-

"I'll do that, sir," Kirie piped up, gesturing to the guards next to Phyllis to tell them to let go of her, and nodded to Ryker and Wingnut. Kirie winced at how the guards were pulling at Phyllis' shirt and arms; With the way they were manhandling her, they might as well have shackled her to a gridiron or something equally demeaning; Besides, if Phyllis was one of those people mentioned who had an agenda in mind, Kirie could handle himself --- he already had before against her, given the irony. Kirie shrugged to himself at it. "You guys do what you have to and don't worry about me."

With a nod, Kirie held out a hand towards the door and politely beckoned for Phyllis to walk that way. The location he had in mind passed by the lounge; perhaps he could pick Emily up there along the way, too. "This way please, ma'am."

-????-

At that time, just as Alex and Sephiroth were about to head home, their machines' transceivers registered a beep as a coded message came through their terminals. The signal had no source, seemingly sent in secret, and was encrypted against tracing; Should Alex and Sephiroth examine this message, however, they would notice that the encryption was pretty standard for Divine Crusaders, as was the format.

Within this transmission was a text order, Priority One-coded, with proper DC authentications.

Head to Point Alpha, near Vandenburg Vicinity, and see to the protection, and if necessary rescue, of priority targets Masaki Andoh and Lune Zoldark against imminent Fandom ambush at the designated location. All units attempting their capture are to be fended off or defeated. This order overrides all other priorities.

Soon, Kylern would himself receive that very same order through his personal computer, as would one other person in the DC in a vastly different place...

-Black Mage-

Rescue Lune Zoldark, defeat Fandom bad guys, blah blah blah... Black Mage was not amused by the sudden change in orders --- especially not when he was just getting ready to burn down a Fandom supply depot in Anchorage, Alaska at the same time, something which he had been rearing to do. Standing hidden behind a snow crater overlooking the supply depot in question, Black Mage frowned, his eyes angrily narrowing --- This meant Black Mage would have to turn the L-Gaim around, head all the way to Vandenburg, and...pretty much burn more Fandom stuff down but without any extra bonuses added to it.

Unless...

Great. Why me? Just when I had the urge to destroy the world, I get transferred. Then, Black Mage paused, the L-Gaim sheathing the drawn Buster Launcher back towards its back, moving it from the barrel's resting place in the snow and lifting it up. He blinked...then after awhile as realization set it, he groaned. Oh, great, that just won't do, would it? I'd say let the Fandom have that miscreant, but if the Fandom has Lune, ol' daddy Bian might not be so eagerly inclined towards razing everything the Fandom had anymore. And that affects me negatively, too! What's the fun of blowing up a Fandom daycare cen---uh, recreation center if doing so would get me fired from the DC?

That thought caused Black Mage to hang his head in frustration and sweatdrop.

I hate you, Lune. I hates you forever.

With no other choice, Black Mage obediently sighed and wheeled the L-Gaim around, leaving the Fandom supply depot to its own devices in search of lesser prey (to Black Mage, anyway). After reopening its own thrusters and binders, the L-Gaim was away equally unmolested and unharmed.

Dreacon looked at the man before him, a soldier indeed.
"Colonel, Dreacon Epsolis Earth Sphere Unified Nation of Zeon." Dreacon said almost as though any of that would mean something to someone in this world.
Dreacon hopped down from his Gundam and offered his hand to Stele in greeting.

Alex Bloke

Alex read the order. It seemed strange; a sudden change in objective. surely there were others closer to this point α but orders were orders and he was not to disobey or else risk termination, which goes against his self preservation directive.

"Sephiroth return to the Vela and relay instructions to head to point α; I'll head there on my own and wait for you"

the 009GS could make the flight easily enough since it's operational time was theoretically unlimited.

"You missed quite a bit. It seems that someone on board has some rather nasty plans in store for those of us who are newtypes. You might want to keep a low profile about your powers until we find and capture this person. That's why I'm going about making sure that he can't get off the ship like the last spy did."

-Gibraltar Base-

He had landed the Overflag easily and hopped out just to be greeted by someone new. It seemed they had been waiting for him rather eagerly for just a small transfer. What was going on around here?

"Lt. Ryder, I'm Chief of Security for Lunar Corps. I'm here to escort you to space. We have a high speed shuttle ready for you." He spoke with a but of urgency as he started to lead Kyle towards the sleek looking vessel mounted on the Mass Driver.

"Whats going on Sir that needs an escort?" He asked feeling kind of suspicious about everything. He hadn't known about the order that had led his sister to her death and the Gundam crew on their crazy adventure. He was blindly walking along with no idea that the Federation had their eyes on him...

"I will debrief you once we are in space. Its not really safe around here to talk." That was all he was given. Despite his suspicion he followed along still looking forward to flying the new VF-25 fighter.

After getting onto the ship he sat back and strapped himself in. The control tower gave the countdown till launch. He had been on launches before into space so this wasn't that much different. And after flying the YF-19 the serious Gs didn't seem to bother him either anymore. So as normal they reached space within little time and once they had left immediate orbit the autopilot shifted in and their course was for Lunar Corps Mobile Testing Base. Kyle turned his head and started to ask his question again but the Chief spoke first.

"Sorry for the scare but something strange has been going on. The Federation military has been spending a lot of time in your personal files at the corporation. They weren't just looking at your combat records but also your history and connections. It wasn't until the death of your sister did we decide to get you out of there. I'm sorry to say but your parents were picked up a few days ago just after your battle in Suez. After that orders came down to pick you up and bring you up here ourselves. Several other test pilots in our VF program have also been disappeared and we feared for your life."

Kyle was rather stunned to be exact. He looked out the window at the Earth and wondered just what was really going on. "So your saying someone is targeting me from within the Federation?" He finally asked this looking back at the Chief.

"Yes sir we believe that to be a possibility. Both Fandom and the Federation are acting rather funny right now. One of our pilots had gotten a glimpse of the same AI fighter you had fought and one of our satellites had filmed a previous battle between the Federation and Fandom in which a new NT weapon was being fielded. Whatever is going on it has to do with Newtypes and we can't let you remain on that ship." The Chief was being rather blunt of course and in a way it scared Kyle. He had no idea that his sister's death had been part of a conspiracy and he wondered if there was more going on. It all seemed centered around the Gundams and Lunar Corps orders to get him out seemed like a good idea. Except the fact he didn't want to see anything bad happen to the others, well Zangetsu and Gai were exceptions. He didn't care what happened to those two...

-DC HQ-

A strange order appeared on his mobile AI attached to his wrist. "What I've gotta save this Luna girl now... Nobody has said anything about that." He complained a bit but the good doctor had good news for him too. Quickly Kylern ran down to the lab to find what appeared to be an ear piece.

"Go ahead and try it on kid." Kylern picked it up and placed it over his right ear and pressed the button. A fine laser wire connected to a port on his mobile AI and a visor like beam went over his eyes. "You see now not only are you protected mentally but you can uplink what you see with your 707's AI. You should be able to upload data on what you see as well as communicate easier. What do you think?"

Kylern looked around and stared at the doctor. Data from his AI labeled the doc and he could now access limited known data on the person without problem. It was almost like a miniature version of his 707's VR imaging link. "Pretty damn cool I must say. How would this work with the system already in place on my machine?"

"Well since its the same thing you can just take it off when placing your helmet on. Thats all I could do sorry." Never mind all that Kylern was still happy. He felt like a tech geek as he played with his new toy by scanning everything he could see and storing it all as data. "Also I think your technician friends had a long range booster add-on for your unit. You might want to check that out."

"I will and thanks doc. I'll take this as payment for you experimenting on me when I first got here." He gave a wave and took off back towards the hangar area with his 707. Upon arriving he indeed found an add-on that they were attaching to the board.

"Hey kid we got word of your new mission and put this on. It will get you far enough to reach out forces already on route. We wish you luck." Kylern was kind of in a hurry and really didn't say much as he got into the cockpit of the 707. The VR helmet came down and he plugged himself into the rather cramped cockpit. The unit turned on as Kylern was fed data through his helmet visor on his mechs current status.

"Alright lets do this!" With that the tesla drive activated lifting the 707 off the ground. Then his board's temporary boosters fired up sending him out to see towards North America. He would have to meet up with the others...

Alex Bloke

Alex received an alert of a mech approaching from behind. It seemed it was the Temjin 707.

"Kylern respond. This is Alex Bloke. What is your objective?"

Tallis Stenner

"you know if you boys want to keep a secret you might want to make sure no one is close enough to hear it."

Tallis had just finish striping the Lancelot and had been about to punch out for the day when Wingnut had entered the hanger. She would have let her curiosity of his somber expression go but then while she was passing the two she overheard mention of newtypes and a spy. after saying this she moved closer and asked making sure she would not be heard

- Ryker -

"so how do we do this, sir? he may have half the crew already under his belt. So I guess first thing is to make sure Emily and Terrace are safe." said Gai.

"We continue as planned and get him when he is easiest to catch. Go ahead and make sure that Emily and Terrace are safe and stay with them until we get Pyshtek."

Ryker left the room, keeping the data card with him, and headed to the bridge.
Upon entering the room, he gave the order to get under way.

With the calculations complete the crew readied the Ceres for departure.
Once ready, the engines of the ship went to full power and rocketed the ship into the sky.
As soon as the Ceres had finished the initial burn of her engines and leveled off, Ryker activated the intercom and informed security to arrest Dr. Pyshtek.
He then made an announcement ship-wide.

"Attention all hands. It is my duty to inform you that a spy and traitor has been found in our midst. This person is Dr. Anton Pyshtek. If he resists or tried to leave the ship, you are authorized to use any force necessary to apprehend him."

- Wingnut -

If Wingnut was a newtype, he might have sensed Tallis behind him before she spoke. Given the recent problems that surrounded the newtypes in this world however, having someone like Tallis sneak up on him like that wasn't a bad trade off.
Ryker's announcement came over the speakers a moment later.
"It seems we might, Ms. Stenner. That quack is likely in the infirmary now, and might be moving to escape now. What route might he take to escape from there?"

"yes sir, ZAngetsu I'll find Emily you find Terrace"

with that Gai headed out and started looking finding her in the lounge just as the announcement started. She was the only one there so guy shut and locked the door setting a chair against it just to be sure.

"I guess you understand what's going on; for now we'll wait in here though."

Tallis Stenner

Tallis mentally reviewed the Ceres' schematics.

Terrace listened to the announcement with interest.

So, it's Doctor Pyshtek, is it? I better make sure that Emily knows about this. I bet you anything that he's the one who messed with Mike's head. Terrace focused again on mental communication.

Emily, they found out who the spy is. They're going to arrest him now.

-Emily and Kirie-

Emily bristled with excitement and only a little bit of fear when she heard the announcement, and then Terrace's mental warning. She nodded. Ooh, sweet. 'k, tell me when you found him! I wanna see what he looks like... She mentally replied, and looked around the lounge just as Gai walked in; All of a sudden Emily wished that she had a Lightsaber on her --- at least Kirie would get to...

Just then, Kirie and that woman who was pulled from the Fandom Mobile Suit earlier walked in as well, Kirie holding a katana in one hand. Seeing Emily and Gai there, Kirie nodded in greeting, half-relieved that they were okay, and turned to Phyllis, gently gesturing for her to step in.

"It's alright, ma'am, let's just wait in here for a bit until things are safe again, just in case." Kirie piped up. "Helps me with the only-one-pair-of-eyes-thingy, too."

-Pacific Ocean-

He was speeding up on another mech in the sky. His sensors told him that it was the Huckabien. That unit was a friendly in his book even if he didn't understand the way the cyborg operated. When it called out to him via radio he decided to answer back.

"I got a strange message about a girl and boy needing help. It said the operation was a priority... I guess that meant I was needed as well." He hit his confidence boosters and was able to pick up enough speed to catch up. And now that he was flying beside his DC ally.

"Wheres the crazy mercenary guy thats been traveling with you?" He decided to ask why the guy was out of distance to hear the comment. He kind of figured the hot head would have thrown down a fight if he head something against him.

"due to his mech's operational limits I told him to return to the Vela which will reach the battle-zone shortly after we do." A quick check told him the Vela was indeed following them at top speed, Sephiroth should be aboard.

Sume Gai

Gai allowed Kirie in and he brought someone Gai didn't know as well. Gai was not quite sure what to think of the unknown but Kirie seemed to trust her so Gai would leave it at that for now.

"This could get messy..."

Tallis Stenner

Tallis reached the deck full of empty life boats and proceeded to drain their fuel tanks. remaining vigilant for anyone who might enter

Ceres Lounge

'Alright..alright. Jeez, you wind up out cold for god knows how long and wake up to anarchy. Lame~"

------

Ceres Infirmary

*Ping..Ping..Ping*

Mike had laid the last of the technicians down on the floor, out cold for the time being and incapacitated. Pyshtek wouldn't be using them. With just him and the good doctor left in the Infirmary, it was at least up to him to make sure that Pyshtek didn't leave the office. As the announcement was made, Pyshtek burst from his room, handgun drawn and aiming it right at Michael's face as he approached the pilot.

His voice hissed and dripped of venom, his eyes wide.

"You..YOU! HOW! You dare stand in MY way, in the ways of MY orders and the orders given to YOU!? You sly little piece of shit. I should have tore that damned brain and processor out of you before I started this endeavor."

Mike simply smiled and stood there, head cocked and hand on his hip.

"Oh really Lieutenant. You dare ponder assaulting a superior officer, Lieutenant Pyshtek? You of all people, an officer in the Human Federation should at least be familiar with the regulations for officer conduct."

"YOU DARE MOCK ME!? I'll bring you down here and now.."

It was then that Pyshtek reached out his hand, and the tips of his fingers opened to reveal some sort of metal structuring that began to build itself around his hand and wrist.

"This is the end of the line, boy-"

Just then a pair of armed guards appeared in the doorway, but were quickly dispatched with broken and severed necks by the GM Pilot pair. Both had their weapons drawn and were pointing them at the Bawoo pilot.

Well, at least until the door slammed shut in their faces. Mike's hand lowered as the locks engaged on the door. The pair were now sealed in the chamber, and only one was going to come out alive..

"Boy? You refer to a superior officer as..Boy? You refer to a superior being as boy?"

Michael's demeanor had changed, as the hand at the hip now had developed to a slight slouch and swager in his step as the pilot paced himself around the cyborg doctor..

"You will address me as sir, Lieutenant.."

"Oh SHUT UP! I WILL PUT YOU IN YOUR PLACE YOU COBBLED PIECE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE!"

"Uh, no. How about I show you a little glimpse into the pain and suffering you and your little lackey's have caused me for the past few months. Just because, heh, I'm more computer, doesn't mean I'm not capable of higher reasoning and thought."

Mike took a step closer to Pyshtek, his hands tapping on his thighs as he watched the cyborg sweat.

"You see, you overestimated what could be done with the technology that you possess in this world, and the nature of a cornered animal. Think of a cornered predatory animal, say a lion. Try to corner it and rein it in, and it will strike. It will strike over and over until one of two things happen.

You kill it.

Or it kills you.

And I'm itching to try the latter Lieutenant."

Pyshtek couldn't believe what he was witnessing. A being under his control..REVOLTING!? Impossible!

"Shut your mouth this instant, Boy. I'll put you in your place and kill you like the dog you are.."

"o rly?"

"Yes, Really..now enough of this dialogue. Sit boy. And hold still..this will-"

"Only hurt a bit.."

Pyshtek had become so delusional in his own idea that he could take down what he thought to be an equal, that he had trouble registering the feral grin on his opponents face as Michael began to hack into the core processor unit in his brain. Pyshtek grabbed his head with his free hand, waving the hand gun at Michael as the pilot simply stood there with that grin on his face.

"Oh, I'm sorry, got a little headache? Need a belly rub?"

"Get away from me, you beast. You will DIE boy, NOW~"

Michael stood by as Pyshtek emptied the rounds of his gun wildly at the pilot..and missed. The Doctors vision began to distort as Michael stepped closer..closer.

And then a searing pain lurched itself into the doctor's chest. Michael had punched a hole straight into the abdominal wall, so hard..that it had cracked his sternum and now blood poured through the doctor's white lab coat.

"Like going into shock too? Want to feel the pain I felt after getting shot multiple times? Here. let me show you. And you will refer to me as SIR, lieutenant, got it?"

Pyshtek gasped for breath as Michael's hand dug deeper into the chest, the pilot's own skin ripping and shredding against the broken and shattered bone fragments that now embedded themselves in his arm. Michael winced slightly as he dug deeper into the doctors chest, and flayed out his hand. Blood splattered onto Michael's face as Pyshtek threw up on him.

"Now now, I didn't here you? You are to refer to me as SIR, lieutenant. Understood?"

No response.

"YOU are to refer to me as SIR, Lieutenant!"

No response still from the now dead Pyshtek.

"YOU ARE TO REFER TO ME AS SIR! LIEUTENANT!"

Mike used what was left of his arm to grasp hold of the spinal column in Pyshtek's back and began to pull.. The man came closer to Michael as he grabbed the chest and pushed against the incoming corpse. The pinging had become so unbearable that now Michael had flown into an adrenalin and endorphin high, and shook and pulled at the man's chest until the spinal column finally gave and pulled form Pyshtek's chest. The shiny metallic form grew from his chest as Mike pulled harder, and harder. Using all the pent up rage that he had suppressed while Pyshtek used him, Mike gave the good doctor one last jerk..

And his head came off. The Doctor's spinal column, and skull, ripped themselves out of his body and now a partially skinned and bloodied skull and spinal column dangled in a mass of tendons and metallic structure as Michael dropped the remains of the doctor like a bad habit. With his strength gone and body partially mangled by the assault, the grip he had on the computer faltered, and the locks disengaged. The door flew back open.. Guards would immediately smell the odor of burning computer and elctronic parts..and flesh, as the doors seized.

The GM pilot pair would be found collapsed on the ground, unconscious like the rest of the staff in the room. And all the newtypes could feel was a throbbing, debilitating pain as the pinging had grown into a shrill, feral scream. It would subside moments later as Michael fell to his knees, and landed face down on the floor, mangled right arm still clutching the skull and spinal column of Dr. Anton Pyshtek.

Powers? What powers? Hellbore had no idea what Wingnut was talking about, but before he could ask, they where inturrupted by the mechanic, Stenner. After she was done, Hellbore was again interrupted by Ryker's announcement.

"Attention all hands. It is my duty to inform you that a spy and traitor has been found in our midst. This person is Dr. Anton Pyshtek. If he resists or tried to leave the ship, you are authorized to use any force necessary to apprehend him."

After Wingnut and Tallis' exchange, Hellbore turned to Wingnut and said "I still have questions for you, but they can wait. If we're going to the infirmary, we have to be careful, some of the guys in their are crazy strong, one of them overpowered me like I was a child. Let's go"

As Zangetsu tried to follow the Doctor and Mike, he suddenly was assailed by a mental scream. He yelled as the screaming intensived with the pain, until as suddenly as it appeared it vanished. Zangetsu was pantg from the shear stress it had put on him. He grabbed the raidio on his belt. "Quick....anyone....to the....infirmary....." he managed to say as he slipped out of consiousness and fell on the ground.

-Terrace-
Oh, man, I really need an asprin now! was all Terrace could think as his head throbbed with pain, as he heard that cursed pinging grow into something like a banshee wailing. Then, just as quickly as it began, it ended mercifully.

Ok, status check. The pain is gone. The pinging is gone. I assume the spy is dead or captured, with his mental hold on Mike gone.

Zangetsu, Emily. You two alright?

-Ralph and Joe-

When quizzed after they came around, neither pilot would remember a thing from after they had first stepped into the infirmary. A review of the incident found them not guilty of killing a pair of guards by reason of reduced sapience.

-Parts Unknown-

A shadowy figure nodded as he finished checking on the Ceres with his Newtype powers.

The death of Dr. Pyshtek proceded exactly as anticipated. Pity, though. He was a useful pawn. But it was necessary to sacrifice him. His computer-aided mind control is a needed part of my plan. Also, Terrace cannot acheive his full potential with the good doctor's maddening interferance.

The figure brought up two files on the computer he sat before. The files detailed the last two GM Heavyarms pilots.

The death of Nestor was... unexpected, but I will merely adjust my plans. Terrace's team will play a vital role in his... conversion.

-Emily and Kirie-

Emily felt it clear enough as well, and she was clutching her head, running around (figuratively) like a chicken with its head cut off. Owowowowowow! Purple elephants! Must think of purple elephants! Emily mentally screamed at the pinging and throbbing, and when the thoughts of purple elephants didn't diffuse it any, she realized that she had to take it up a notch. Zangetsu and Terrace would be able to detect the next image as well as Emily focused hard: Must think of purple elephants with the Winged Template and a CR Rating of 10...this is no CR5 enemy, boy! No CR5 enemy!!!

Then the pain was gone. It worked (or so Emily thought). Stopping and blinking, Emily shook her head again. The pain wasn't back, and the image of a CR10 Winged Purple Elephant was still as vivid as ever. Which was a good thing overall, yup yup. Mentally, Emily signalled for said Winged Purple Elephant to fly into Zangetsu's mental consciousness and gently prod him awake, alleviating at least some of his strain. CR10, CR10, go and wake him up, mmkay?

Kirie could only stare and sweatdrop at all of it.

Zangetsu stired on the floor as Emily atempted to help him. "Ahhh! Demons, pink winged elephants." he said as he jerked awake by the image. 'Emily I thank you for what you did but, please never show me that image again, those thing are evil.' he told her as he got up and walked whirily down the hall to the lounge to take rest in a chair. 'Emily did you and the others feel that to?' he asked as he entered the lounge.
