Ex's Fins moved quickly to form a shield against the cannon fire.
Dreacon backed away from the pink Windam.
"Its Not her!" he yelled.
The Windam went for him, drawing her right beam saber and bursting up twords him, she saught to end this giant gundam.
the gundam moved quickly and drew its own beam saber, then a voice she did not know came over the comms.
"Kathyran, stop this now, i don't want to hurt you!"
They stood off with crossed sabers.
"What the, who the hell do you think you are!" she yelled back. she knocked his saber away and fired her vulcans on him as she backed away.
"Its Me Kathy, its Dreacon." the voice said calmly as though he sought to comfort her.
"You don't know me, i've never even herd your name!" she yelled charging at him again with the saber, again and again. Yet the Gundam continued to simply defend and try to back away from her.
Dreacon tried to reach out to her, as he did, both Mobile suits stopped moving over the lunar surface.
Chapter 16/17: Lunar uprising (Space)
-Pericles-
"Sir, we have missile fire detected from our port side."
"Damn it, it was a trap. Get some of those ReZELs back here, we've got all we need."
The CIWS on the ship came to life and pumped out tons of ammunition, detonating all the missiles. The attack from the rear however was not intercepted, and two engines and the main gun on the rear deck were disabled or outright destroyed.
-ReZELs-
Fortunately, the MS forces hadn't gotten far. Seven of the ReZELs turned around and rocketed back to the defence of their ship. The beam cannons of two spat out at the Thunderbolts, which were followed by the beams shots from the remaining five (2 each).
The other three ReZELS transformed to MS mode and while two fired their beam cannons at the enemy Gundam, the last one fired three shots from his rifle.
-Ayin-
Following the ReZELs back to the ships, Ayin focussed the group of four attacking from the ships rear. Targeting the largest one he fired six shots from the twin beam cannons and one large blast from the larger single cannon on the nose.

Their first attack was useless as the enemy ship managed to shoot them the first wave of missiles down easily. So when their radars blared about the enemy coming back around they figured it was time to spread out. Quickly the four units pulled away from each other making the first counter attack meaningless. If they had stayed packed then all four units would have met dust but in their loose formation they could each pull away in different direction.
Their objective was to survive until the Salvation was safe and by splitting up they hoped to draw the enemy units towards them. There the FAST pack laden valks could outrun the enemy units and with a needless chase gained precious time. The four almost dared the 7 to follow them by unleashing a few bursts of pulse beam fire on their pursuers.
-Ryder-
Kyle had scored a pretty good hit on the enemy and with several engines down it had no chance to chase the speedy Salvation. But before he could soak up his damage the enemies units came to the rescue with the Wolf Pack leading the little guys away. That left what he could only assume as the leader left and when it began firing from such a long range the Messiah pulled out of the way and hit the deck while his three Ghosts pulled up in formation.
"I'll handle her and let them deal with the ship. If I could disable all its engines then this is a serious victory." The Ghosts took up the attack from behind the Pericles using their triple pulse energy guns aiming at the last of the rear guns and the engines.
Kyle took the lead in attacking his new foe by beginning the game with a barrage of 10 advance high-manuverability micro-missiles which locked on and collapsed on the enemy unit in a bloom from all sides. Then he rocketed underneath her trying to annoy her with his antics. Ryder was known for his skill in a dog fight and this girl was going to learn what it was like to fight a true Valkyrie Ace.

Rather than chase the faster Valkyries, the ReZELs pilots transformed into MS mode and used the superior tracking off their limbs to continue to ward off the Variable Fighters.
-Ayin-
As the micromissiles detonated around the ReGZ, Ayin twisted the fighter like MS around and avoided any serious damage. Firing off a missile salvo, Ayin used the verniers, twisting the mobile suit to keep the faster VF in his sights.
-Pericles-

The caused some more damage and broke off their gun runs. All three shot high into the air and then dropped down on top of the Pericles releasing their entire holding of micro-missions down on the enemy ship. Each Ghost held about 30 so the ship was swamped with fire as their attack seemed to be drawing to an end.
All three Ghosts then switched over from remote control the auto control. With their ammo spent then split off and attempted to retreat the battlefield taking various paths back to the ship to prevent being tracked as well.
-Wolf Pack-
With the enemy not chasing them they could have easily escaped the battlefield except the order to retreat was never called. Instead transformed into Gerwalk so that they could keep hovering over the lunar scape at high speed, but gained the ability to aim their quantum beam carbines at the enemy units. They also expended their FAST pack micro missiles on their attackers in hopes of spreading them out.
-Ryder-
His enemy seemed to avoid the first missile barrage and as he crossed under a group of missiles were returned. Transforming into B mode he took aim with his quad laser cannons and fired upwards into the less intense missile swarm. Then he turned his duel 25mm beam machine-guns as well as the two large beam cannons mounted on the FA pack onto the enemy and fired up at it. He was ready to duel with this guy if need be. His systems showed that his remote fighters had left but he didn't need them to hold this guy off.
-Ghosts-

As the small unmanned units broke off their attack, their missiles impacted on the topside of the Pericles. Due to some fluke of programmig, the missiles didn't hit the bridge. However, the rest of the ship was not so lucky. Several large holes were blown into the ship and the other main gun was destroyed. The starboard flight deck was also rendered unusable.
Still, the crew desperately tried to turn the ship faster to escape the ambush.
-ReZELs-
The seven ReZELs dodged the in coming beam fire and used their vulcans to shoot down the micromissiles. The two wielding beam cannons took aim and fired a sweeping blast at the VFs while the five with rifles fired a trio of shots each at the GERWALK mecha.
The other three, seeing a new threat come out of nowhere, focused their fire on the LEV. Two beam cannon and thee beam rifle shots came toward the strange enemy machine.
-Ayin-

Warning indicators flashed on the Phantoma's HUD. Aiden quickly tried to evade all the shots but only managed to dodge all the cannon shots. Two beams struck the Phantoma on its backpack and Aiden had to eject it. Using the smoke from his backpacks explosion, Aiden went upwards and quickly turned to the ReZELs and fired two long bursts toward the three units.

The Messiah wasn't much smaller as it stood at 14 something meters making it the size of the newer Federation mobile suits. And as the enemy tried to twist into it and use its beam cannon it found the VF-25S unmoving. Instead the beam cannon round slammed into the powerful barrier and disperse. With the enemy pointed right at him Ryder opened up every missile port on his machine showing something that would make anyone think twice about attacking. The Messiah had about 200 missiles on board and now unleashed his remaining 170 something at the enemy machine creating a cloud of destruction the larger fighter was running right into. And the cloud spread out saturating the area instead of collapsing onto one spot making escape all that more difficult without turning tails and running.
"Alpha Wolf to all remaining units. Fall back to the designated point. The operation is a success. I repeat operation is a success." With that the Messiah transformed into Fighter mode and took off without seeing the outcome of his missile shower.

(Eh, they look like beams, and the ReGZ is over 20m tall so, yeah)

Seeing the swarm of missiles heading for him, Ayin quickly releases the BWS, which proactively slams into the wall of missiles, detonating many of them and was unfortunately destroyed.
The remaining missiles target the now humanoid ReGZ, were either taken care of by the vulcans or the shield, which was also rendered useless. Fortunately for Ayin, the enemy seemed to have given up and was flying off, faster than he could hope to catch.
-ReZELs-
As the Lunar dust begun to settle, the ReZELs pilots saw the targets escaping into the black of space. Reporting the withdrawal of the enemy to the Pericles, the 5 rifle equiped mobile suits, transformed and raced back to their comrades, while the pair with beam cannons, moved to gaurd the ship from any further attack.
The others, exulted over the hit on the LEV, were brought back down by the retaliatory attacks from the Phantoma. The First shot went wide, but the second was right on target, only to be stopped by the rifle equipped ReZELs shield. Using said shield, the three units opened up with the small beam cannons on the shields underside, firing two shots each.

"Captain," the radio man said, "mobile suit forces report that the fighter types are leaving the area. There moving to support the other forces against the to MS types at the outpost."
"Thank you," replied Krager, "Tell them to occupy them until we make out escape or until they withdraw as well. Do not pursue and return to the Pericles after that."
"Roger," came the answering reply as the radio man bent to relay the orders.

"Gah, I'm no good at this..Oh well try this!" Aiden moved in a zig zag pattern while advancing towards the ReZELs, using his quick thruster to move at rate which he could dodge the enemy fire perfectly. Within the Laser MG's "Recommended Firing Range" he opened 3-Round bursts at each of the machines while strafing.

A beam rifles fire hit the Phantoma right on the chest and the resulting explosion sent his mech a few good meters back.
Aiden tried to get himself rebalanced and fired off his Laser MG halfway to overheating. He gave the ReZELs back just as much fire as they gave to him.

The laser fire from the LEV was hurried an inaccurate. The ReZELs shot over the battlefield and spun around, firing their thrusters to kill their momentum and speed in the other direction. The three that were fighting the LEV first also transformed and shot off to join their comrades.
Now, as a unified force, the 8 ReZELs fired all their weapons (8 beam cannons, 6 rifles, 2 large beam cannons) at the enemy mechs, kicking up a thick cloud of Lunar dust, before flying off back toward the Pericles. As they escaped, their leader sent a message to the Jesta pilot before, they were to far.
"Oi, newbie, use that cover to bug out, we're done here."
One of the ReZELs had swooped down for the Jesta to use as an SFS, but wouldn't wait around long.
