Not really mecha, but I suppose this falls into the general cultural theme we deal with here. The full "movie" Kung Fury is also available on YouTube for those interested. If you're a kid of the 80s, I can promise a few chuckles in it. It is extremely silly (or outright stupid), featuring cop-movie cliches, dinosaurs, nazis, and all that. It had a definite "Star Wreck" vibe of fanboy enthusiasm to it and the gags entertain you exactly for the length (~30mins) of the "movie.
