Baund Doc is based off the Grabro?

According to the JP Wiki, it states that the Grabro was used as a base model for the Baund Doc. The sentence that makes the claim has no reference tag to point to any source that it might have come from. Can any prove this theory to be true?

The form does suggest that the MA form of the Baund Doc was inspired by the Grabro. However the Grabro itself seems inspired on the space only Bigro, so we could also argue that the Baund doc is based on the Bygro instead, which makes more sense. I do can say that the lower half of the MS form of the Baund Doc is more inspired on skirted Zeon MS, such as the Dom and Gelgoog, who had some of their main thrusters on the skirt, just like the Baund Doc.

One potential reason for indicating a relationship to the Grabro could be to consider that the recent MAM-07-X3 Grabro Underwater Bit-Mounted Prototype from MSV-R was also equipped with a Psycommu system.

Maybe the JP Wiki was referring to the fact that Makoto Kobayashi explicitly based his orgiinal Baund Doc design (or better, its MA mode) on the MAM-07..

Not that much hard, granted you have access to at least some pages of the earliest issues of B-Club magazine, where Kobayashi explained the relation we're dealing with

Both the illustration and the models were made by Makoto Kobayashi; if you look at the legs and claws of the Baund Doc, as well as to the overall aspect of its MA mode, you will immediately recognize the similarity with the MAM-07.

Moreover, in the picture linked below, coming from the instructions of the Kotobukiya 1/220 scale Baund Doc III garage kit, you will see another porrof of that relationship:

As you can note, the left side of the image shows Kobayashi's rendition of the MAM-07 (the two drawings above) compared to its original Underwater Type Doc (drawings below)
