Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Thanks Deacon! At least they bothered to explain the contest designs.

More Grego info:
-It combines the weapons from every Thoucus previous unit: leg are Needle VSBRs from Ballerina, arms have Beam Fangs from Desphys, I-Field hand from Galahad and finally U-turn missiles from Banzo. Should also have some Lalo ability, Phantom couldn't be analyzed so it gets nothing from it.
-The pilot was shot with a virus bullet but survived?

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Bibrons confirmed as spelling, model number corrected as ZMT-XXG.
Actually it seems that they corected also the name (at least its katakana), from ビフロンス to ビブロンズ, so now maybe it should be rendered as Bibronze rather tha Bibrons...

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Thanks bilbros, didn't pay attention to that.

Anyway here are more pics:

A)Bibronze's full tech pages:

http://i.imgur.com/KM5Blb2.jpg

B)Grego in action: the pilot clearly names each previous Thoucus unit function. It's a 5 in 1 MS.

http://i.imgur.com/4jtXqKB.jpg

-leg are Needle VSBRs from Ballerina
-arms have Beam Fangs from Desphys
-grab arm from Galahad(I-Field function?)
-shoulder U-turn missiles from Banzo(exact location?)
-other arm functions as the Lalo's Light Ball

Grego VS Midas next chapter, pilot is still shot

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

New stuff from the May/2105 chapter:

1)Midas' staff gun mode in action, plus Grego's I-Field hand

http://i.imgur.com/gKBEqah.jpg

2)Grego's Missiles

3)Midas' Beam Manteau

http://i.imgur.com/lyPFCGj.jpg

4)Midas' still unexplained MS paralyzing head light gimmick
http://i.imgur.com/nMFB1YG.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/zQeivlJ.jpg

Now that's an OP final boss, he has paralyzed every MS on the battlefield while the Chaosreru attacked the cockpits with virus injecting funnels.

We should have still 3 or 4 chapters to go. Vol 10 releases in August and comes with 7 pages of Mechanical Explanation.

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Latest Ghost chapter info:

-Midas' head light gimmick appears to use flicker-fusion frequency(フリッカー融合頻度) to overwhelm the enemy MS sensors. Curtis and Jack are unaffected. Since the chapter name is HI-KA-RI it might be the name of this ability, full reveal next chapter

http://i.imgur.com/54EHw0Y.jpg

-Chaosreru transform from ship mode to MA mode. It's supposed to be around 200 m.
http://i.imgur.com/0FYlE9e.jpg

-Chaosreru sketchs, appears to have arm beam cannons in MA mode. The manga Chaosreru is a combination of 2 contest winner MS: the original Chaosreru which used a Minovsky Drive and an unnamed MS that could control other MS.

Manga will likely end in 4 more chapters to complete another volume, up to to vol 12.

Skull Heart manga info:

-The Amakusa is actually based on the original draft of Hiroyuki Taiga(大河広行) and his original idea was very ZZ-ish. Source for the images is a fanzine containing Hasegawa's drafts:

Hasegawa then did the cleaunp making it a very straightforward unit and also added the face mask gimmick.

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Sorry, Seabook doesn't appear in this chapter. Anyway more info and pics as the finale approaches.

-The heroes' plan to destroy the Kizo Fleet and the virus is to focus every single colony mirrors to fry them as a makeshift Solar System. The final battle conveniently takes place in the center of all Sides locations.

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

MS info from vol 10:
-XM-XX Ghost Gundam, now able to fight in Mirage Oiseau form
-This era's Battalla is called ドク・オック, Doc Oc?
-The Doc Oc equipped with Einerad and Lalo's Light Ball is called Batalla Hard Roller
-X-0 Full Cross is the official name. The Full Cross equipment original concept already existed in UC 133, made of Shelf Nozzles and I-Field Generators and was found on the derelict ghost ship.

more info soon

Also in the Volume is official art for the EMS-TC07 Grego, which is vastly different than the one displayed on MAHQ (which looks like fanart to be honest). Also featured is the Batara Hardroller.

Having not read the story, maybe it's an early version? What I use came from this:

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

The Grego lineart in mahq is the one done by the fan who submitted it to the design contest.

BTW the original design had completely different abilities from the manga one like the rings were used to accelerate or slow beams passing through it by Minovsky Drive or capture the enemy inside them. It had beam cannons all over, solid throwing rings stored on the shoulders(using the arm whips enabled irregular attacks) and its spurs were Bugs.

Here is the official lineart for it(it has twice the engine output to power all its functions): http://i.imgur.com/5na7gG7.jpg

Official colors: http://i.imgur.com/cwZzTHM.jpg

The original version was much more interesting gimmick wise...

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Maybe Tomino was a fan of this manga. Seeing this reaaaaly makes G-Reco look tame and reasonable with its wild but awesome designs.

Funny how UC ended up going more and more G-Gundam style with its mecha as the technology evolved. Funny as in, I'm not sure what to think.

Midas has even more gimmicks:
A)Arm claw Beam Sabers: http://105.imagebam.com/download/vZ2vKe ... fbdaca.jpg
B)Arm Beam Shields with high output: http://114.imagebam.com/download/hEBuc0 ... 3618ca.jpg

And that classical Crossbone moment: missing the hero's cockpit while slashing it: http://114.imagebam.com/download/X2tcui ... 1f586e.jpg

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Missing Mechanic Exposition pages from vol 11:

-Ghost Gundam: model number is meant to represent the second unknown machine. Head Sensor and Faceplate come from F97 series parts(retains the 2 step exhaust mechanic), upper arm and femur are also new. Additional side waist thrusters and leg ducts are for better Phantom Light efficiency and to give better performance to Mirage Oiseau mode. Backpack had no changes internally but the addition of forced cooling cartridges and the weight reduction caused by armor replacing granted it a better circulatory function. Its color is still green but due to the emergency deployment need it became silver because of the new metal(discovered on outer planets) coating which grants beam and solid weapon defense. Has a Joint Arm with Scissor Hangar for carrying the Kujaku, waist new weapon is called Flame Rifle which fires irregular beams due to its I-Fields and thus is a failure as a standard shooting weapon. The all directional Phantom Light attack was an idea Font had on the spot.

http://i.imgur.com/NY4oyRy.jpg

-Crossbone Gundam X-0 Full Cloth: the prototype was completed 20 years ago, the original concept was disposable Shelf Nozzles to grant extra acceleration instead of protection. The shoulder small I-Field Generator had already been implemented too so it's possible that the X-3 arm one was diverted from this. Curtis ordered it to be retrieved from the Ghost Ship and then it was repeatedly adjusted for actual combat. To compensate for the lower ratio of ABC Manteaux present on the inner armor it was given the same silver beam coating from the X-0 main body so now it has the same defensive ability from the Steel 7 one. Although the mobility is the same as the UC 136 one, now the cockpit is filled with a gel-like cushion technology which reduces the burden on the pilot achieving a higher acceleration limit. A driving frame has been added to the Manteau's inner part allowing it to unfold as needed.

-JMS-06 Doc Ock: Battalla improvement made after being acquired by civilian contractors while reducing its cost. New thrusters grant it better mobility than the original unit however since it's not meant for combat its Beam output and others functions have been deliberately suppressed.
-Battala Hard Roller: made from a Einerad and Lalo's Light Ball, higher defense than even Full Cloth but has mobility problems.

And where exactly was that mentioned? I don't recall seeing any model number or name mentioned in the current chapter...

Kizo destroyed the X-0 and the Batalla injuring Tobia then he kidnapped Belle and escaped towards Angel Halo. Kosher offered help with the Thoucus mothership which had a Divinidad stored.
