First, this is in the wrong section. It belongs in the Mecha section's identify a mecha thread, where this is being merged into.

I'm curious about this thing... I know it's a Cybuster, but what i'm hoping to find out, is which Cybuster is it?
Re: The Official "Identify This Mecha" Thread Ver 1.0
Worthy of note is that this is one of the Samurai general's custom versions AND not the basic fanelia guymelefanimalia wrote:Does anyone know the name of this Gumelef from episode 2 of Escaflowne http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/215/1episode2.jpg/?

In the middle is current design of OG Cybuster.Omega wrote:I'm curious about this thing... I know it's a Cybuster, but what i'm hoping to find out, is which Cybuster is it?
The one on right is Panzer Warfare's Cybuster, which is more or less the same as one in anime adaption.
The one on left is Israfel, which is manifested from left "arm of god". Back then, the arm is most likely what left of Cybuster. But thank to Revelation of Evil God, now it's more likely to be Zelvoid's.
My girlfriend was a loli.

Thought I cropped it down to the Cybuster on the right... but thank you very much for IDing both PW Cybuster and Israfel.

According to Super Robot Wars Compact 3 they're called Fanelia Guymelefs. You'd think I would be making that up, but no.What are the names of the Guymelefs used by fanelia
Re: The Official "Identify This Mecha" Thread Ver 1.0

You ARE aware that this is the third separate occasion on which you've inquired about this, right? I would think it'd be fairly obvious by this point that they aren't officially named. And even if they are, it should still be fairly obvious that nobody here has any frigging clue as to what they might be called.

Look animalia, I'm trying to be polite about this, but nobody knows anything about Escaflowne's mecha, and repeatedly bumping the topic is just going to piss off the mods. Zinc Panic has more info for Escaflowne's mecha than anything else I've ever seen; if that's not good enough, go find something like the Escaflowne Setting Document. Otherwise, you're probably SOL.
