Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
I wouldn't compare BF and BF Try to regular Gundam shows cause the premise is completely different, its a battle shounen show that is at times parodies Gundam shows. True on regular Gundam shows, but Try nonetheless tried to follow its predecessor show's formula *too* closely while trying to introd...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
Just because someone is rotten or evil doesn't mean they're going to suffer or die "just because". Karma doesn't operate on speed-dial. I surmise people are griping about this is because that's how previous Gundam shows typically handled their conflicts and they were expecting Rustal to m...

Looks like something from Freelancer that can't make up its mind between being a cargo ship or a fighter. =/

Re: New Gundam Ace manga: Crossbone Gundam Dust
Is it just me or does that design look quite IBO-inspired this time around? I would not put it past Hasegawa at this point to try to tie his UC continuity in to IBO somehow, either, given there was already precedent (sort of) tying Unicorn to G-Reco before.

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-I
I'm probably giving the producers too much credit, though when Shia said she wanted to make a Gunpla for Sekai so he could 'get stronger', one wonders if Shia really meant she wanted to make a Gunpla for Sekai to fight , rather than for him to use . For all we know Shia could've always meant an upgr...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
"Fight on for another 10 years" indeed. I find it hilarious how Gyanko's solution to making any Gunpla more powerful is apparently to put a Gyan shield on everything. It's like her version of Frank's RedHot Sauce. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Sekai ends up carrying one of the R...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
It's not like the sabotage would be done in the presence of the other teammates. Sei would still have his own private time. In fact, he was already in a team of two with his partner Reiji. But the fact that of said team of two, only Sei solely handles the maintenance of the Build Strike Gundam mean...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
While I know that the 3v3 format is for story/plot purposes, I would like to know the in-universe reason for this becoming the standard over the years since Yagima's takeover of the tournament. So far, we've only seen the rules for the U-19 division, so maybe it's just to promote teamwork among the...

蒼天紅蓮拳 (Souten Guren-ken) - Azure Sky Crimson Fist Used in episodes 3, 9 & 10 (by Mirai). Basically a SHORYUKEN. A very painful one if Critical Hit , if I may add. :P 閃光魔術蹴り (Senkou Majutsu-geri) - Flash Sorcery Kick Used in episode 7. Same execution as the Seisou-geri while generating a surge o...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk I
Beargguy III was picked up later and rebranded by Bandai, and then they released an epic crapload of new designs afterward. That would unfortunately make the Beargguy II BF:T's version of the infamous Chinese Gundam , but in reverse --- Bandai obviously couldn't get China to sign off on the exclusi...
