Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk I
And plus, the designs just don't match up. I don't care if they are 3 eras or not-there is just no way I can see the AGE-1's design evolving into those two others. It's too much of a stretch with the designs we've seen confirmed. Plus, would Bandai really make the AGE-2 look SO much like the 00? It'...

Re: Chaos Theater Mailbag Drop Box
Hey guys...comics have been a lot on my mind lately, so I'll try my best at a post of Mu Magnitude: 1) With the Avengers film seemingly being the culmination of all the work done in the Marvel cinematic universe so far, what would you like to see the house of Ideas do post-Avengers? Do you want to s...

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box
Hey Gundamn! I was dicussing anime with a friend the other day and we came to the same conclusion-it is a rarity if the main protagonist of any particular anime, particularly Macross and Gundam, is our favorite character from that show, i.e. we prefer Char to Amuro and Kamille, Max to Hikaru, etc......

Re: Ship's Bridges Being Target.
It would make more sense to have the bridge inside like in Battlestar Galactica with cameras and sensors you don't need to see out, guess like submarines Yeah, but even in the original BSG the bridge of the Galactica was located at the forward slope of the bow, with the ability to close the windows...

Re: Topic Submission Thread Mark II
You know, I think another listener participation episode is in order, but maybe apart from simply asking questions, you guys could do a themed discussion, i.e. one of the threads on the board. One example might be having people express their opinions via Skype on Gundam Age in what would essentially...

Re: Gundamn! Mailbag Drop Box
Hey guys, First of all, I don't know if I've said this yet, but great job on the podcast. It's a great piece of entertainment and it's just the perfect slice of nerdiness every 2 weeks or so. Now, to the actual question: What to you makes an effective mecha design? Is it a case by case basis over wh...

G-Fest XVIII
Hey, just wondering if anyone would be going to G-Fest this year. To those who don't know, G-Fest is the biggest (and only, I believe) kaiju film convention and festival in North America, and usually takes place in Rosemont Illinois. So does anyone know what makes the full action version of the Damashii Unicorn, well, "full action" as opposed to normal? Something to do with articulation?

Re: Another Gundam Incoming
This could be totally unrelated, but reading Tomino's recently released book, Gundam no Kazoku Ron, he mentions that he is currently doing research for his next production, although he doesn't say what it is. I would assume that's regarding his Ideon reboots (in a similar vein to the Zeta Gundam Ne...

Gino Weinberg, the Knight of Three. Too bad he got so outshined by Suzaku, who did it, by the way.

I'm working my way through Neuromancer while getting started with the Wheel of Time series...should I start with the first book (Eye of the World) or the prequel (New Spring)?

The Origin becoming anime??? i never this could be happen.... i like Bandai pleasing the two side of Gundam fan, the old ones and the new ones. Well, Bandai's been doing this for 30+ years--they know how to reach their fanbases. But the possibilities for this are huge! MG Gundam the Origin? Yes ple...

Alright gentlemen,
Since Batman: The Animated Series was on when I was a little too young to remember it, maybe you guys at some point should talk about its sequel which I do remember very fondly, Batman Beyond.
And a Zelda spotlight, running through the games maybe?

EDIT2: I also love how Big Bot, Bumblebee and Megatron are cooler-looking versions of their movie counterparts. Especially Bee. Yes! As I said, the designs are perfect for almost every character. I hope we get to see more of Soundwave, because his silence and Predator drone alt mode are just so bri...
