Re: What do we know about Luna Titanium?
I can't speak any of the accuracy but I would wary without in sentence citations. That Entertainment Bible I reference is cited to the name in the first paragraph. I usually will cite every sentence relating to the info when I'm updating info there cos I want everything to be tracable back to the so...

Re: is Thunderbolt a Alternative Continuity or just another UC Side Story?
Just a guess but I think the author just felt like it while not really caring about keeping to the main continuity. So more of a case of "I think MK-II is cool, I wanna introduce it" than "what's an advanced MS that I can use that still fits in timeline wise". If the latter was t...

Pretty sure you can post articles on it as long as it doesn't have like illegal scans or anything.

Re: BMW's colour changing electronic E ink - One step towards Phase Shift Armor realization?
Basically this works like mobile suits in Gundam 00 where they can shift their colors or patterns since the paint are nanomachines. I remembered this when I saw the BMW annoucement some weeks back.

Re: is Thunderbolt a Alternative Continuity or just another UC Side Story?
I'm not a UC expert but my impression is under Gundam's canon system you can interpret the animated works however you want on whether a work is the same timeline of something or whether it's a different timeline - or anywhere in between. For example, I heard some people argue Zeta movies are a sepe...

Re: Could the Gadelaza have wiped out the ELS advance fleet in its second sortie?
My understanding is the question is asking about the smaller earlier advance fleet as opposed to the full one that comes later from the portal in Jupiter. I think it's still unlikely but much less implausible than the full fleet. Full fleet is projected by Veda to take two weeks with Qan(T) Full Sab...

Re: The Official Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Anime Thread Mk I
If it is a nickname for the MS, it would be interesting because it also implies it has a feminine visual design, as opposed to neutral or male like most MS.

Re: Could the Gadelaza have wiped out the ELS advance fleet in its second sortie?
To be fair, the pixiv profile also said it can "speculatively" (推測) kill the fleet so it is being transparent in regards to where that info is coming from. It also mentions the same five platoon combat strength that Seto did, earlier in the article. So author seems to have the same knowled...

Re: Testing Phase?
Would be pretty stupid to mass produced a mobile suit without running any tests or a testing period.

Re: The Official Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Anime Thread Mk I
00 and Code Geass R2 were in that slot. Code Geass Season 1 was late night as it was a more niche show targeting an older audience.
IBO and AGE also had it so not unusual for Gundam.

Re: How well can we replicate complex, non-standard, human-like movements with the flight stick?
Motion capture might be too dangerous on something that moves fast. Would be harder to strap the pilot in and keep them as still as possible.

Re: How well can we replicate complex, non-standard, human-like movements with the flight stick?
If it's not pre-programmed in, I don't think the Char kick can be done unless the segmented actions of that kick is already in and you just chain them together. While never directly elaborated, I always assumed the cloud-based "Veda Backup" in 00 refers to stuff like this since it's direct...

Re: What defines Mass Production?
Seriously, people, the actual produce number should be no factor at all. One example is 1.5 Gundam Type Dark. It's designed to be mass produced, the design is ready, and they have resource. But the guy in charge of the production facility want every production line to made glorified suicide bomber ...

Re: What defines Mass Production?
Yes but those are not examples of mass production though certainly with only a few confirmed units. The point I was making before was that ten or three units (like of the entire line, not just a subsection of it) would generally be too small in total aggregate to be considered mass production even i...

Re: What defines Mass Production?
So that skews the perception a bit; if your whole faction is less than twenty people, then a suit that half of them pilot would be considered mass produced. Personally I think ten units is too low to be considered mass production in a general sense even if it covers 50% of the population. Limited p...

Re: What defines Mass Production?
I wonder then, whether the lack of clarity or consistency we see of this in Gundam is mirroring the same lack of clarity in the real world. MythSearcher brought up a good example of different generations of plane/tank numbers in a previous post. The famous US Supreme Court saying in regards to porno...

Re: What defines Mass Production?
I find it's best to think of a "Mass Production Model" not as a "has this unit been mass produced?" but instead "can this unit be mass produced? So in this schema, a unit that can be produced in great quantity and scale could be considered a mass production type. Good conce...
