For all situations like this, I go for a solution I found on a gunpla tip site: Teflon tape (aka plumers tape) in the joints really helps stiffen things up. The site I found it on was giving advice on the 1/100 Wing kits and noted the vast improvement in Shenlong/Altron's extendo-arms when the joint...

i wonder if we should be paying attention to Alejandro's aid more. Those shots of him make me rather suspicious of him. You mean like the apparently gratuitous shot right after Tieria finds out that there are sections of data that have been messed with and he's not authorized to access them? Not to...

I checked this again (a bit more carefully than my last post...) and the Overflag rifle actually has three barrels. Two of them are much smaller and firing rapidly in sequence during that part.

Latest ep lets us answer a question from before: The Plasma Sword of the Flag is capable of cutting through the armor of a Gundam.

ETA: Whoops, as Zero Revenge pointed out, he used the Eins own saber to do the cutting. Never mind. *smacks self*

Immediate reactions: So much for Nena disliking taking lives... Graham was awesome here. First time anyone's done that kind of damage to a Gundam. Pity Johann seems to have blown up the arm post dismemberment but at least Graham managed to keep the saber. Maybe this will finally be the episode the s...

I got a feeling the ending might turn into something like Gundam 0083; the formation of TITANS aka an ANTI-Gundam unit by the world's 3 powerhouse. The Union already has one of those, whose base and commander the Thrones just took out with extreme prejudice. Also chances of Exia being the only gund...

Yes, the fanservice is a spymaster. It's bizarre, but then again, who would suspect her? Well, given how she hasn't spent any time doing celebrity things since the first episode (or at least, we haven't seen her doing it), someone in her fan club with an obsessive attention to detail might get susp...

Not sure why their response surprises anyone. This is the Federation we're talking about. These are the guys who let the AEUG, Londo Bell, one training ship and the League Militaire do all their fighting for them at various periods and generally stuck their heads in the sand until the time came to m...

There's three boxes. The third contains the Operation Meteor set and Endless Waltz. It's still expensive at ~$100 but cheaper than the first two. Here's an Amazon.jp link.

Using my limited knowledge, the GN Shield appears to have some sort of field generating property (which would finally explain the belt connecting it to the backpack). The bit at the top of the first pic and bottom of the second is comparing the GN Launcher to Dynames and Virtue's weapons but I can't...

I've only seen really low quality clips taken from an old VHS version. About half of it is recycled material but I can't tell you how it's organized since the clips I found didn't include it. The new material is pretty short and covers the five pilots in the immediate aftermath of the series (and I ...

Speaking of planets, I'm surprised Mars hasn't gotten more attention in Gundam. Sure there are plenty of other anime that use it and there's not much you can do with it you can't do equally well with a colony but it's still odd how little we hear of the red planet. It's mentioned in the conclusion o...

Right, since all that technology existed before the units were first deployed none of them can be said to have actually been upgraded. By the logic used, as soon as Kyrios or Virtue actually use their beam sabers they'll have been 'upgraded' since they're using equipment they haven't yet (even thoug...

I do imagine Billy will pick up the pieces and eventually figure out what the Prof did just before he died. As to how hurt he is, it looks like he got tossed around by a shockwave but he's probably not badly hurt. Two characters is quite enough for one episode. Oh, and the yaoi fans are probably goi...

Many questions in this episode. 1. Are plasma blades inferior to the Gundams' beam sabers? FWIW, Graham was surprised to see the weapon when he first encountered it in battle, though he didn't react when Exia used it to slice 'n dice Patrick (maybe he didn't notice, it was a quick fight). Also FWIF ...

Even without the spoilers, there's no way Marina's story is over. Her appearances in the first OP hint that she's going to continue being important to Setsuna's story and she's in both the second OP and ED. my only complaint is what am I going to do after episode 25? Its along time till november!! W...

If there is a missing component to the Tau system it doesn't seem to affect the suits much. The Thrones have the same flight capabilities, beam weapons and communications jamming abilities as the regular GN Drives (actually, they didn't seem to affect the Overflags in this ep but with what Drei does...

Wow, this episode had Things Happen. I wish I could understand the first half a bit better. Looks like that kiss rumor was spot on, among others. Seconding that, three or so years from now (judging by the way things go) no matter how the anime ends up Nena will be a hidden character in SRW and/or G-...

Looking at the info from the latest episode... ouch. The GN Launcher with two suits powering it puts Full Burst Virtue to shame with the destruction it caused. Oh, and the GN Fangs are just nasty. Imagine the beam spike feature Legend had on its large Dragoons, now make eight of them and they can st...
