Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Mecha Thread Mk I
I wouldn't necessarily go that far. Vs Astray was mostly models cobbled up with no original pieces. The thing is, this seems to mostly just extend to optional backpacks for Gunpla in the vein of the Strike Gundam. Not necessarily what I'd want (Since I prefer using things like the option spikes, ra...

Dang.
What a review/rant.
EDIT: And also, forgive me if I sound insulting, but you sounded like someone who has a preference for Gundam Wing over others.

Re: The Official Gundam ZZ Discussion Thread Mk I
Then You have Neo Zeon's troops who are so "green" it's funny and sad at the same time. Even Mashymre notes how inexperienced his troops are when they can't tell dummy asteroids from the real ones. Of course this is after he ordered to go charging straight ahead. To think all their traini...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk III
Quick paraphrase, since time is short... AMX-107R Re-Bawoo (or whatever). Upgraded machine equipped with psycho-frame. Intended to be Frontal's personal machine before he got the Sinanju, subsequently piloted by someone else. Thanks to the psycho-frame, it appears the separation function has now be...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk III
I wouldn't say its milking rather that you have to consider the development of the Unicorn series. Char's Counterattack takes place in UC 0093, and the events of Gundam Unicorn takes place in 0096. The Shinanju Stein is based off the Nu Gundam and Sazabi. The stein was apparently in deployment/data...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI
At the very least we should probably see the end of 'The other side aren't so bad because I met a tortured cute girl in their number'. But then that's perhaps welded to the Gundam melodrama formula... Yeah, like the 'masked antagonist/protagonist' and 'loved ones self-sacrifice' cliches (The latter...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk VI
The scene is open to interpretation, to be sure, but I don't think Loni was saved. I always saw the look on her face as one of utter, tearful surrender, rather than peace; yeah, she stopped that big blast from hitting Banagher and Riddhe, but I think what really clinches it is her final line ("...

Re: Official Gundam Build Fighters Anime Thread Mk. I
I think the lack of 00 and AGE is simply because the kits are fairly recent and a side project to this show is updating stuff that has long needed a new HG. AGE kits are only like a year or two old and 00 not much older than that, so there's the issue of how much can they actually do better and how...

Well, then that depends on the size of said mobile suit.Seraphic wrote:I am NOT asking about game mechanics.
This is a physics discussion.

Re: What is Scirocco's Origin?
I don't think this will help, but this is scirocco's official bio from gundam official, or an archieved gundam officical. "A sinister genius who joins forces with the Titans. Known as "the man from Jupiter," Scirocco is a member of the Federation's Jupiter Fleet, whose huge transport...

Re: stunning MS and stopping power
I actually think that this should be passed on to the Games board. I remember this for Gundam Vs. Series. For instance, the Giant Bazooka for the Dom/Rick Dom was able to stun targets for a couple hits before knocking them over, while the Zaku Bazooka is capable of knocking opponents over in a singl...

Re: Official Gundam Games & Upcoming Releases Thread Mk IV
Yesterday I had a rather epic 6-hour run with some guys from my primary MB. We drank, we fought, we made our ancestors proud. At the moment we were just using text chat, tho it's kind of a pain so it's probably going to come down to voice chat, assuming one has compatible headsets. Also, I retract ...

And also, it's nice to see the Victory grunt units getting some love they've been deprived of for many years (outside of SD G-Generation games, that is. ).

Also Microsoft said they are not including the headset with this system. That's bad news as that was one of the best features of the 360 because it made sure everyone at least had something if they played online. Now they say kinect is the substitute but that does not sound as good. Even ps4 is goi...

Re: Known MSV-R so far
In hindsight, it feels like the creative team may have boxed themselves in by avoiding any of the machines that were (badly) visualized in Okawara's M-MSV series, and ignoring all of the post-80s OVA series. For example, the FA-78(G) would make more sense if it were somehow related to the RX-79(G),...
