Re: What Super Robot Wars' SRX unit makes me think of
Just like how previous Banpresto originals are inspired by certain mecha anime, SRX's concept and plot (from Alpha and OG) seem to be inspired primarily by Dancouga (e.g., "real" robots combining into a "super" robot; a mentor who is held in high regard by the female pilot and la...

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread
Looking at the lineart of the AIF-7S, I noticed 6 ports on the side bulges (3 on each side) just above the 25mm guns. On the AIF-9V, these are the 20mm guns.

Also, Mega Man has made it into Super Robot Wars, although it's a tower defense style game (X-Omega).

Re: The medical downsides to being a Newtype
I'm more curious that you become concern about this issue by reading X-Men of all thing... In the mainstream continuity, the US government have certain Weapon Plus programs that turn mutants into brainwashed super-soldiers in preparation for a Mutant-Human war. In an alternate dystopic timeline, so...

Re: Does the destiny silhouette use Voiture Lumiere System?
Ignore my previous post. Had a brain fart and didn't notice the "silhouette" part.
In a G Generation game, the Destiny Impulse Gundam is shown having the Wings of Light (for the Destiny Gundam, this is generated by its Voiture Lumiere system). Its canonicity is debatable, though.

Re: Does the destiny silhouette use Voiture Lumiere System?
I think the Master Grade kit manual reveals that it has the Voiture Lumiere system. The "new propulsion system" thing may be its Voiture Lumiere system working in conjunction with its Mirage Colloid system. I may be wrong, though.

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread
About the VB-6:
1) Can it fire its railguns in shuttle and battroid mode?
2) A Macross RPG site, Sketchley's Translations, lists it as having grenade crushers. Exactly where are they located?

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread
When were the rollout years for the following: VF-9, VF-14, VA-3, VA-14, VB-6, Neo Glaug, and the Variable Glaug?
Do the Neo Glaug and Variable Glaug have model numbers / vehicle designations?
Does the Neo Glaug have a battroid mode?

Re: The Macross Valkyrie Thread
Thanks for the response, Seto Kaiba.
What mainly bothers me about the VF-5000 and VF-11 is that, aside from their gunpods, they have no other forward-firing ballistic or energy weapon in fighter mode.
What are the advantages of the VF-25 over the VF-19 and VF-22?

Is there a reason why the VF-11 seem like a downgrade weapon-wise compared to the older VF-4 and VF-5000?
Does the C model of the VF-11, from Macross 7, have internal missile launchers?

Yamato has a very high evasion rate for a mothership and is also a tank due to its wave motion shield.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vidar is Ein's consciousness in Gaelio's body.
