Re: What's Your Latest Game? Mk III

over the last few months i've been playing: - battlefield 3: i'l agree with mcred that learning how to fly the helicopters is difficult given how they tend to drift a lot, (you know just like in real life) combined with it being damn hard to get access to one before someone else on your team does bu...

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-new yark team vicinity- "Wales......got..” "what?" the AEUG ensign replied as the garbled message came through heavily distorted by the minovsky static, looking over his shoulder to irene's last known position, his eyes widened as he saw her being ganged up on by another three hizack...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

Yes, I suppose that more parts do mean a higher chance of losing bits, but can the same not be said for having more accessories for any kit? Simply keeping the parts in the original box could solve this problem. I do admit that having more parts is somewhat of a backwards step, but if it means that...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

Honestly though, I have no problems with this, if anything you're likely to pose the hands of the kit either balled up or holding a weapon; so why not have dedicated fingers to either improve the grip or have a more realistic fist look instead of a set of fancy bendy fingers that fulfills neither r...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

wait a minute...are my eyes decieving me or does it have the same hand design as the wing series MG's?

*shrugs* either way its almost definately on the must get list now, i liked the fact that they asymmetrical design of the assault shroud gave it an armored core-ish feel

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Herakles team vicinity- whether he knew it or not, Iarocci's fear of being 'sandwiched' between two enemies was about to become a reality, as Wales had pursued to the point that the AEUG pilot was within range to begin his assault on the Herakles team. pausing only to line himself up with his targe...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

I may end up picking that one up...though I'd have to do something about that eye-watering shade of pink it is...Thinking red, perhaps. Or maybe just go totally off the wall and do black. I've never understood why all the merchandise insists on coloring the suit pink when it was a distinctly reddis...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

^ compared to the other SEED MG kits the strike looks a tad bulky, so a 2.0 would probably involve slimming it down some, changing the hands and shoulders (mainly to do away with the screws in the shoulders) addition of a stomach joint, fine tuning the panel lining a bit espceially around the mouth ...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

But they already have a Sword/Launcher Strike MG. The Sky Grasper for PG was only made to sell the Aile Striker Pack and the RG to sell the Sword/Launcher Striker Packs. I don't think a Master Grade Sky Grasper would be popular enough... but if they made a 2.0 of the strike those launcher and sword...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

touche, and in all honesty only a third of what i hypothesised has occured i do hope we finally get the justice, and a strike 2.0 (don't really care so much about a freedom 2.0 as a: already have the first one and b: aside from new hands and a new joint in the torso there isn't really much you can d...

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Team 3- Trask never got a chance to see if his shots connected with the tiger striped barzam, a warning chime drawing his attention to an incoming Marasai, beam sabres in each hand. not having enough time to ready his own sabre, he did the first thing that came to mind, firing off a few dummy ballo...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

interesting how its designated the X-100 frame rather than it being stated as specifically for the duel, maybe they're going to do like they did with the units from gundam wing and do MG's of all the GAT series suits using this X-100 frame as a base. with the duel being a 'proof of concept' so to sp...

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-team 3- Wales grinned as two of his shots found their mark and prepared to fire at the hizack again to finish it, but incomming fire from the hizack in question and its wingman forced him to evade, dodging the first salvo and nearly avoiding being hit by the second, a couple of the 120mm shells str...

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Team 3- not needing to be told twice, wales immediately took up position alongside irene as they broke formation, keeping his attention towards the hizacks they were to intercept while he swaped beam pistols so as to allow the one he'd been using to charge up again his radio crackled to life when t...

Re: Slash hariken jumping

@ Seraphic thanks for linking to my earlier reply in one of these threads, now i don't have to repeat myself (mostly) that said. on the subject of tension, a standard 8mm steel winch cable can withstand upto 25-30 tonnes before it breaks under ideal conditions, however the devil in detail is not jus...

Re: Slash hariken jumping

in fact the entire concept of the slash harken isn't workable. full stop. Try telling that to Gasaraki, which came out eight years before Code Geass and actually depicted in realistic fashion the practical uses of robot-mounted winches. except for the whole rocket propelled and high speed retreval ...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XI

I would expect the Justice (either version) to come well before the Amatsu or the Providence. Bandai has to go with what's popular and therefore sells.. Providence never got the major popularity and the Amatsu is obscure as hell. while that is no doubt true for the providence (given that it only sh...
