Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Even if you say the Doms were more mobile the Nemos were slouching. As was the Guncannon detector. The thing literally stood still to die. They were likely rookies with little to no actual combat experience. Don't forget that officially speaking, Torrington is considered a backwater base, where tes...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I kinda feel that there was somewhat a justified a reason the Zeon Remnants MS were dominating the EF MS until the Byalant Custom showed up, the harbor scene was mainly pathetic Aqua GMs and GM IIs facing off against Zee Zulus and the Gryps Era Zaku Mariner and Capules while being surprised by Zogok...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Mecha Thread Mk I
The Shaldoll pretty much looks more advanced than the Genoace. The Genoace, aside from the custom unit, looks pretty clunky although is probably more advanced than the Zaku lookalikes.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk IV
Since its Torrington and its in Australia, the Byalant pilot could be Master P. Layer of the white Dingos, maybe?

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Who is that Byalant pilot?! I MUST know! The twin brother of the Stark Jegan pilot from episode 1. Definitely not Jerid Messa. At least the Nemo III only went down in the hanger by a cheap sniper shot and not by actually fighting decade old MS like the Guncannon Detectors. Although that would...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
How ironic that it took another MS that Jerid piloted, the Marasai, to actually even damage the badass Byalant Custom.
Is it just me, or has Gundam lately been showing other MS using the titular Gundams main weapon by snatching out of their hands. Like Woolfe from Age and now Riddhe from Unicorn.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Ah, I see, so THIS must be the new GM II variation that was stated to be in episode 4 a few months back.J-Lead wrote: It was a GM-II using both the Striker's twin beam lance thingy as well as the special plating the Desert GM and GM Striker both have on it's shoulder armor. That's all.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Wasn't a GM Striker also shown? Or was it a GM II using the Striker's twin beam spear? Now all's missing from Z-MSV AEUG's non-gundams are the Rick Dias II and Methuss Kai although I doubt the Rick Dias II is gonna show up as its successor Sturm Dias was used by Neo Zeon. Maybe the Gaplant Kai might...

Re: Vandread: To Watch or Not To Watch
If you look closely enough in the early episodes, there is someone from Taraak who looks exactly like Bright Noa, and is also voiced by his original VA as well. The mecha are pretty cool looking and there is quite some fanservice. Hilarious gender specific sexual tensions/misunderstandings are inclu...

Re: Fate/Extra
I hope Fate/Extra CCC comes out as well. I really want that Saber Wedding Dress version. And also Sakura route as well.
I also started off with saber in my playthrough. I'll go for Archer next time. I'm not a fan of Caster cause I don't like furries.

Re: The Jurick and its Peers
Haha, it's not just Izubuchi... They've cropped up in other random series here and there. The reason why I jest with it is because the spellings come from all sorts of things. We have the MA-05R Big Rukh (it fits the fact that it's a mobile armor, so...). Then there's the Sloep... Is the Big Rukh t...

Feet are needed for kicking. Ask Char or Kamille.

I would like to refer Decil as Ribbons Jr or mini Paptimus. Makes a lot of sense in context.

Re: Ep. 088 - Face the Gundamnation!
Would Oliver May from Nazis in sp- I mean MS IGLOO count as a good guy that pilots a MA. He certainly does a much better job with the Big Rang than Kou and is a fair pilot unlike douche Yamato. Good job with all the callers. Y'all sounded like you really enjoyed yourselves (especially Soulbro bashin...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II
Fun fact about the nickname "White Wolf", the name also belongs to Gratches from Ryu Knight, another anime done by Bandai in the mid 90s that aired in the same time span as G Gundam. Both characters do have a nack for being the "speedster" protagonists in their respective series...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I kinda think of the Shamblo as a amphibious MA version of the Neue Ziel from 0083. Its got pretty much similar weapons along with the deflectors from the Psycho MK II.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
Aside from actually seeing another Re-GZ I was really shocked at seeing a BEAM JAVELIN, especially one that was very similar in appearance to the original used by the RX-78, I almost thought the GM III was using the twin beam trident of the GM Striker.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk 1
Is it just me or is there a big glasses/visor motif in this show? The old man mechanic and the fat friend both had googles while the Genoace pilot Drace and the Deputy captain had visors/shades on. The whole eagle/bird flying in the colony was kinda overplayed as well to MSG cause I can handle the w...

Re: Zeta Gundam: Why is it so great?
Probably one of the reasons why Zeta is a great show and is also one of my favorite reasons is because of Paptimus Scirocco. He is probably the best magnificant bastard yet in gundam followed closely by Ribbons but he manipulates everyone and especially has a lot of sway over women especially. He is...

Wow Bright's new VA sounds just like the old one.
Those Nemos also looked magnificent.
