Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I always thought the Titans' decision to adopt the Hizack (ie the Zaku II lineage) was based more on psychological reasons. I know that if I was an average spacenoid civilian living in UC 0087, with the One Year War not even a decade old, the sight of a mobile suit so similar to the one that wiped o...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I honestly don't see what's so farfetched about any of it. A bunch of angry, embittered Zeon remnants who've had close to two decades to hone their talents in guerilla warfare and master their machines launch an attack on a poorly-defended backwater base mostly used for pilot training, fighting ine...

Re: The MAHQ Grand Burkean Reorganization Project
Here's one for the ReZEL, hope it meets your criteria. Following the failure of the RGZ-91 ReGZ, the Federation's efforts to develop an economical transformable mobile suit based on the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam finally came to fruition with the introduction of the RGZ-95 ReZEL. The ReZEL's frame was base...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I think GM IIs and Nemos would be pretty much perfect for a base like Torrington. They're not good enough for frontline duty, but modern enough to train recruits in the use of beam weapons and the panoramic monitor.

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
I am sure soon there will be yet another retcon story about how this was yet another unused prototype variant left over from the OYW. Considering that its sensor range, generator output, and thruster output are more or less on par with other MS of that era, I'm guessing the remnants upgraded it the...

Any sign of the Ankusha? Or does it not show up at this point in the novels?

Glad to see I'm not the only one with that problem. I was able to preorder the other two episodes with no problem.

The second one you're looking is a Korean production called Solar Adventure.

Re: Replacement kit parts?
I've already looked on there, unfortunately they don't have parts for any of the models I want to fix. :/
And yes, I know HLJ gives you the entire runner, I've ordered replacements from them before, but I know they weren't as expensive as they're saying they are now...

Replacement kit parts?
So, I'm in a bit of a bind. As just about anyone who's ever built gunpla knows, sometimes parts break. If you're lucky, it's not a major part, if you aren't... I know HLJ offers replacement parts, and I've bought some from them in the past, but after sending them a list of replacements I need,...

After having watched episode 2 off the PSN, I'm inclined to believe that purple effect is the psychoframe. The Sinanju does the same thing at one point.

Gundam Unicorn issue with BD-Live on PS3
Alright, I really dunno if this is the right place to post this, but I figure I can't be the only person who's had this problem. I've tried to download the BD-live content for Unicorn that I've heard about, but it keeps telling me my PS3 isn't connected to the internet, when it most definitely is. D...

Re: UC Colony Names?
Morgarten was the colony where Kamille and company ran into Rosamia and Mineva, as well as the colony where the two Hizack Custom pilots were hiding out. The names of the other three colonies from 0080 can be seen on a departures board in episode 5, when Bernie is trying to book passage out of Libot...

A few more I can think of offhand... Eden (Banagher's birthplace, seen on Cardeas' computer screen in Gundam Unicorn episode 1) Core 3 (ZZ) Frontier 1, 2, 3 and 4 (F91) Baldur Bay (MSG) Morgarten (Z) Achilles (Ecole du Ciel, site of the Zeon National Defense Academy) Jupiter (Ecole du Ciel) Ontario,...

Augusta is also briefly seen in Ecole du Ciel, and judging from some untranslated scans I've seen of future volumes, it's where Erisia is sent to be made into a cyber-newtype...
