Re: Iron Man 3

Story will be based on the Extremis arc.

The "Iron Patriot" is supposedly War Machine repainted for propaganda purposes.

Ben Kingsley's character is rumored to be based on the businessman aspect of the Mandarin.

Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG

Jakubuoh's sword and Bujakuoh's cannon are the same weapon (Kokuja) in different modes. I think it's based on the snake that coils around Genbu.

Soulgain has the new forearm from the Inspectors anime which he uses for the Genbu Kongou Dan attack.

Re: Avengers film 2012

Rewatched the film. Noticed some things: - Project Pegasus. In the comics, it's a facility that specializes in alternate forms of energy and research into parallel universes. - Tony Stark mentions a life model decoy (LMD). - Tony Stark wears a Black Sabbath shirt. Black Sabbath has a song called "Ir...

Rumors for the first part of the film: - Loki has mind-control powers courtesy of the the Mind Gem embedded in his staff. - Loki turns Selvig and Hawkeye to his side. - Loki, for reasons of his own, surrenders to SHIELD. This leads to Thor attacking Captain America and Iron Man. - Thor wants to brin...

Re: A rarely seen G Gundam acronym

I remember reading up on it sometime in 2001. It used to stand for "Gamma UNificational Dimalium Amalgam Mobile-suit" before the implementation of the Gundam Fight.

I think Gundam W has a GUNDAM acronym too.

It's hard to tell from those small sprites. My guesses:
1 - メガロンP1/P2/P3 (Megaron P1/P2/P3)
2 - バラスK9 (Baras K9)
3 - デイモスF3 (Deimos F3)

The kanji seems to be "砲" although it looks a bit different from the other kanji for the ports on the limbs/knees. I'm guessing this is due to the designer's penmanship.

*EDIT: just checked g gen portable on a emu, it only has the beam saber and beam rifle as attacks :( Emu was so ZOINKS I couldn't even read the names of the weapons. Its attacks are beam saber and long beam rifle. You mean the place from where the beam sabers are generated also counts as a beam gun...

Re: The Official "Identify This Mecha" Thread Ver 1.0

Thank you, Hitokirigarou. Would you think this qualifies as a ghost mechanical beast since it was created in the Mikene underworld? The various write-ups about Fragment only mention kikaijuu. While I'm at it would you mind translating real quick the last boss from the SNES Mazinger Z game , please?...

Re: Research: Regenerate Gundam's armaments

(actually in the first the indication says "beam" + 2 very small and hardly readable kanji, whereas in the saecond case it says "beam" only) The kanji looks like "砲", meaning gun or cannon. Overall, the Regenerate has 14 beam guns: 2 on each side of the mono-eye unit on the limbs; 1 on each limb's ...
