The roster is VERY light compared to what we had in Maxi Boost ON so we can expect many more releases throughout 2017/2018 as DLC.
Is this being released in Western stores? I was never able to get on the Japan PSN

Re: Gundam Vs. Series Discussion Topic
I've found that the low-tier mobile suits are often the most versatile though admittedly they don't pack much of a punch. They do work well as support when piloted by a skilled player in a team though

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
A part of me wonders if Gaelio's sister killed herself or somehow was exiled for declaring loyalty to McGillis? Maybe she even exiled herself since the family also lost its power? It is strange that Gaelio was not shown with his sister and didn't even make any mention of her. Considering that he's r...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
At this point I think you're just nitpicking - and that's probably why you interpret the ending as you do It's a bit short-sighted to see the ending only as "Darnnit, Rustal got his way!" without seeing everything else that also happened. Heck, you could've done better to consider why Juli...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
"Ends justifies the means" was referring to Tekkadan and their method of survival.
I mean, I half expected Eugene to try to kill Rustal and Julieta with his bare hands but instead, he played his role. He knew what they would lose if he became like Ride.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
If the above two posts need clarification, the epilogue shows Rustal delivering on both the ideals of McGillis and Tekkadan after crushing them. People like Rustal don't behave like this in real life, but the show presents this as a reasonable outcome. I think I've bellyached enough about the final...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III
I think the show mentioned that tech has advanced substantially since the Calamity War with many MS designs learning from the Gundam frames. I somehow doubt that MS could use Dainsleif back then as well as the Gundams could against the mobile armours. Keep in mind that even the special forces were r...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
Not at all. Never said that Rustal should get swift abrupt karma, just that I don't agree with the finale's politics and moral stance. Note how I talk a lot about the implications of the message in the finale and not much at all about Rustal's fate. My criticism is not really about Rustal. Can you ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
You should remove my quote or add spoilers. I forgot to do so initially but edited it later The system in 00 changed due to CB's intervention but never to the benefit of CB. In 2nd season, they lost against the unified Earth forces which ultimately continued their system. We can see this by Patrick ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
It's almost shocking how problematic and regressive this conclusion is, despite its finer sentiments, which are used as cheap emotional hooks to sell its utter nonsense. If you think about it, it's not much different from other endings such as 0083 and both seasons of 00 Gundam.... In both, the &qu...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
Interesting perspective Zeonista
I do think it's entirely possible but besides a few instances, I don't think we've really seen the public referring to Tekkadan as heroes.
We do know there's a lot of discontent at how Gallajhorn runs things though

Re: The Official Gundam Twilight AXIS Mecha Thread Mk I
Is it just me or is the Tristan basically a composite of damaged Gundams that Zeon may have gotten their hands on? A Gundam wikia says that it's based on the Gundam Alex which may or may not have been abandoned with other mobile suit relics after the Gundam MkII series. It also incorporates the GP01...

Re: Gundam Vs. Series Discussion Topic
I think the "giant crossover" is a big part of this gaming series' popularity.
The only downsides to this are that some minor characters and exotic mobile suits are DLC which aren't easy to acquire for Westerners like myself

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
When we consider McGillis' traumatic past, it's a bit easier to understand some of his actions 1. He married Almiria to protect her and not as a sexual/love interest. He saw his younger self in her - trapped in a world that will force her life along a certain path without giving her the option to ch...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III
True. At first it did seem that McGillis was winning. Afterall, he was slowly picking apart Kimaris Vidar even after Gaelio told Ein to take over. It seems that things changed when Ein went into overdrive and started to rush/ram Bael into the ship. Ein may have gone into overdrive after he was suffi...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III
Bael's swords were breakable after all - proves they are just extremely durable About this, I remember discussing elsewhere that one of Bael's original swords got displaced during the first fight with Kimaris Vidar. If McGillis replaced it with an inferior replica later on in the weeks/months that ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
With Gaelio having his revenge and him previously declaring that he bears no ill will against human debris anymore then I wonder if he will just sit out the rest of the operation. As much as he might not agree with Rustal's methods, it's unlikely that he would betray Rustal since that would mean be...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
sdwoodchuck, you're either a troll or just silly. Re-read your posts. You've focused and obsessed over Hush for a few pages now. Your only rebuttal? It was bad writing and the writers probably were forced to change their original plans. That's the strength of your ability to "discuss". Mov...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
Err....you realize Hush is a side character, just like Zack and the big dude right? It seems you wanted Hush to be a significant player somehow.
Sigh, this is why I and others have given up debating with you. You're trying to reinforce your view by saying it's bad writing. It is what it is.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV
Hush's character arc is too abbreviated? Ok it seems like you were one of the writers. Hush was critically wounded but Mika stopped the final killing blow. That's always how he saved Hush. True, this time he was a little too late. Btw you need to rewatch the series regarding Hush. He ALWAYS fantasiz...
