Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread

Okay, this was an American show. There were kids that hopped into cars, and their index fingers would turn into keys to start the car. Then, they transform with/into the car. It was early on so the CG was pretty poor. Thats all I got. Wicked late reply but the show you're talking about is van-pires...

Re: Female Final Boss

Depending on your choices in Dragon Age 2, the last boss you fight could be the Templar leader of Kirkwall. Diablo in Diablo 3 possesses a girl's body to take physical form, so that counts I guess. Has demon boobies to go with it. I seem to recall Infamous having an evil main protagonist as well. O...

Eh, maybe just for Amuro. EFF seemed to have more Gundams than GMs with all the side stories etc. going about.

Re: Online gamer tags

Guess I should update mine;

PSN: NefariousNarwhal

Xbox Live: Breaker Hi Men

I mainly play Xbox One over my PS4 though. Add me if you want to play Smite, Destiny, Magic Duels, Minecraft, or argue through headsets over the legitimacy of my claim to the throne.

Re: The number of what ifs in Gundam games

Though not really a "what if" since they're all treated as training sims, the missions in Zeonic Front where you pilot Feddie mobile suits are awesome.

What if a Zaku I took out the Gundam using a cloaking device and snuck up on it? :P

Re: Sword Art Online

I just finished Season 1 on Netflix(since it's the only season on there) and I'm currently unimpressed. Many friends suggested it even though I'm not too fond of anime *gasp* since I'm heavy into gaming and was "action packed."...but it kind of fails my expectation of an anime based on &qu...

Re: From software

As much as I'd love to see Namdai(or whatever they changed their name to in the last 4 minutes) do something good with the Gundam franchise(video game related) and bring it stateside, I somewhat doubt they ever will. The last good Gundam games I've played were PS2 era, and even then there were some...

Re: Benefit/Effectiveness of a 0079 Remake?

This kinda reminds me of when Nintendo made Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen. :P But the redone animation quality of my second favorite Gundam game(Zeonic Front is the best) isn't that big of an improvement. They were to clean up some areas where the proportions looked a little funky, but overall foll...

Hell if I know, that's just how I'm rationalizing it. For all I know, it may be a Japanese term that means something else entirely.

Re: Engineers & Manufacturers of the RX Series

It's like looking at the credits to a movie. No special thanks or production babies? I'm going to assume that you're right Wingnut, only because of the "If the shoefits" saying....and the V Project definitely fit. But does this mean Christina more of a role with testing out other Gundam m...

Re: Zeon and their unconventional non-MS equipment

But if they didn't have propeller based aircraft, what about things like the Fat Uncle? Were those developed on earth? Or do the propellers not really matter on it? I think he means traditional propeller aircraft, such as the ones used in WWI and WWII. The Fat Uncle's props were VTOL, but used ther...

Re: OYW production and deployment numbers in light of WWI-II

PPS: tl;dr: How to make OYW numbers plausible/comparable to WW numbers? I'm going to have to agree with Amuro's initial assessment, you simply can't. While the anime is irrefutably inspired by 'modern day' wars of the time, concepts like unit production, population of both sides military(not to men...

Re: Homefront

Homefront was meh to me. The story that takes place prior(if you read through all them news articles in game) was pretty interesting, but overall unrealistic. I read somewhere prior to its release that the plan was for it to be China and not Korea, but that caused some problems and they were switch...

For Christmas this year I got lube, handcuffs, and a copy of National Geographic's documentary on Nile Crocodiles....all unrelated.....<.< What I really got is as follows; -Clothes...so many that I won't even bother listing them off -A black Adidas hat, which is a gift my aunt has given me for over...

Re: Zeon Prototypes of the OYW

Are you counting ALL prototypes, or just ones that get destroyed? Most of Zeon's MAs, like the Big Zam and Elmeth, were actually pretty damn effective until a jedi with a giant robot came in to the picture. The Big Zam, without the proper support of a mobile suit team supporting it, was doomed to f...

Re: Epyon's Wings.

I think the wings are pretty much only useful in MA mode. SOMETHING needs to keep it steady, am I right?

That being said, why Epyon has a MA mode to begin with when it has no weapons is beyond me. How often was it even used? :P

It says they're washed out pilots, so I guess that means they're good shots, terrible drivers :P I got a Star Wars question myself: did the only competent Stormtrooper in episode 6 that actually killed a Ewok have a name? Cause my friend told me that there is an actual shrine on a site dedicated to...

Re: Star Wars Question

How long did he say Stand by before anyone noticed that they should be firing? If I was in command of a giant ship whose only strategic value was the large laser, I would be damned sure that it would be my prime focus to ensure that it was ready to fire at any given moment, and would notice if it d...
