Titans Fleet Size
What is the exact size of the Titans fleet at the height of the Gryps conflict? I remember dozens of ships being destroyed by the colony laser at the very end of the series....

Re: Haman's Obsession and Axis/Neo Zeon's Newtype Drought
I think that the rag-tag formation of Zeonic combat vets that refused to surrender after the OYW played a factor. The population was skilled oldtypes and Doven-wolf was the answer to maximize their skills.

Re: EFSF Reserve Fleets
That was probably Luna II's role after the OYW because it seems to never again be a strategically important base. Maybe the Galbaldy-β were refitted from their Zeon origins as "new" machines once taken out of the Luna II boneyard.

Re: Best sites to buy Gunpla/MSiA / information
My Local "Hobbytown" store has a pretty good selection of the most up to date Unicorn, Build fighters, and Origin model kits in High grade. Plus the newest MGs as well.

Amuro Ray Postwar EFF Service
While I know Amuro is teaching at an EFF Mobile Suit academy at the start of Zeta Gundam, an interesting question hit me while watching 0083 recently. Did Amuro serve in the EF forces on another ship or Gundam mobile suit in the immediate Post-OYW era? I thought of this while watching the 0083 crisi...

EFSF Reserve Fleets
Thinking about how the United States Navy stores warships in "mothball" fleets when not in use, I am thinking if the EFSF did the same practice. Were the fleets of Salamis and Magellan launched from Jaburo in 0079 that fleet? Plus the AEUG stealing ships from a reserve fleet stored somewhe...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
The Africa Federation Garrisons are a bit different as well. Aren't the "zeonic" suits used in ZZ Gundam in the desert implied to have been stolen from Federal Garrisons?

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
The Jaburo Garrison is an interesting force of obsolete mobile suits. Was the original GM production plant or project V. development areas still operational by 0087? The soldiers at Jaburo had to know something was up with the base being emptied and their position under siege by the AEUG. Did the co...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Great point on the Jaburo Garrison being more than able to repel a common Zeon Remnants attack on their base. The GM Sniper Customs and GM Cannons would make a killing of an assault force made of OYW Zaku II and other leftovers. Those Gouf flight types even give the AEUG Nemos a good fight before th...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Good point about the "general Revil" being an old Titans ship. I wonder if just using the clop class and salamis Kai classes were cheaper by 0096, hence why the Alexandria class stayed in mothballs. The real mystery is what happened to the remaining Pegasus class ships and how one ended up...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Yeah that Hizack would look great with a GM head! :D Those Titans mobile suits are indeed odd to see in the background of ZZ since the Titans were originally founded to prevent such a war from a Zeon from ever happening again. Its also surprising how the AEUG used so few Rick Dias units in ZZ. They ...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Good point about the refitting of byarlant to have a visor like most post-gryps suits. The hizack's body style is such that fitting a GM head and repainting it from the zaku green/federal blue seen during zeta might have hid its origins well. Did the Titans remnants take a lot of the hizacks and mon...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Yeah those Zaku-Cannons in space are a strange sight in Zeta. Maybe they were being shipped from storage to earth to another Garrison like Jaburo or even for internal use inside a colony. The EF's strategy of using the Titans as a high tech counter-insurgency force really backfired when they went ro...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Great point about the purge of Titans mobile suits after that era of 0087-0088. The use of those suits was so widespread that the use of old Federation and AEUG mobile suits wouldn't make up the difference in quality or quantity. Unicorn really shows the early symptoms of Federal stagnation that rea...

Re: EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Yeah thats right about the Green-Noa garrison of GMs in episode one being destroyed by the red comet! Plus add some RMS-117 Galbaldy-βs from Luna two and the picture of the space forces is clear. The earth situation is different since the EF forces look at it being a backwater since there are only p...

Re: Member Introduction Thread Mk IV
Hi, I am a longtime fan who caught onto the franchise back in the Gundam Wing on Cartoon network days. I really got hooked in 2001 when first gundam was shown until its cancellation.

EFSF Zeta-era Garrisons
Seeing in Gundam Unicorn's setting of UC 0096 that the Earth Federation uses almost ten year old mobile suits (Nemo, GM, and other AEUG leftovers) for defense on earth. So back in 0087, was garrison of MSV mobile suits at Jaburo a standard EFSF garrison left to an AEUG attack instead of old mobile s...
