Re: IBO MSV

https://twitter.com/KANETAKE/status/901721197095747586 <- Found the Twitter link, and unless that thing behind the Graze Stachel in that pic is the Vual Origin, idk if it's not just the Vual itself, effectively debunking the Vual Origin. That looks a lot like S1 Vual to me. You can see that it's eq...

Re: IBO MSV

I found a JP site with individual text summaries of the Season 2 chapters. Google Translate's translations are spotty, but it would appear that S2 is yet again about the lesser Gjallarhorn families trying to cover their asses from corruption charges following the fallout of the Iznario Fahreed incid...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Well, we've known for a while now that Gjallarhorn has a history of manipulating information and limiting technological progress in order to prevent a repeat of the Calamity War. They have a monopoly on the production of new Ahab Reactors, and they've demonized the use of the AV system and other rel...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Well, the MA is clearly a Naohiro Washio design, and he's been exclusively designing Gundam Frame-related designs in IBO (Barbatos/Rebake/Baal), so it's pretty much guaranteed that it's related to the Gundam Frame type series. As for whether it's a Gundam Frame Type or not, I suppose that depends on...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Its upper arms are practically Gundam Frame legs reconfigured as giant arms, whereas the smaller unit looks like it's making use of a Gundam Frame's arms. Not to mention that cable attached to the smaller unit is probably for controlling it with Alaya-Vijnana. http://www.gundamkitscollection.com/201...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Is it just me, or does the new Mobile Armor look a lot like a Gundam Frame chopped up and reconfigured as a Mobile Armor? Kinda like Gusion with the limb extenders the Brewers used on it.

Re: IBO MSV

Isn't the Alaya-Vijnana system directly integrated into the Gundam Frame? The missing parts from the cockpit would only be the interface that connects it to the pilot, as is the case with Barbatos using a mobile worker's Alaya-Vijnana cockpit seat/connector. The parts that make up the cockpit block ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Seeing what happened to Mika's arm after the battle, I think what Ein meant by the perfect AV system was this: complete man-machine integration achieved by discarding the biological body. Physically, Ein was practically comatose within his cockpit, but his entire consciousness manifested itself as ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk

Gaelio and McGillis' remarks about Alaya-Vijnana and the Gundam Frames have got me thinking about Graze Ein's Alaya-Vijnana System. Gaelio called Ein's AV system as "Alaya-Vijnana's true form" and denounced Mika and co. as "fakes". We all know that the Gundam Frames were all made...
