Re: Movable frame construction material?

Ooooh, I get it. That was exactly what I was looking for, thanks. Gundanium / Gundarium I know the difference in universes, I just never quite could remember which is which. The movable frame technology did started in 0083, Gundam Officials actually attributed the development of movable frame from t...

Kyoto Spaceport October 8, 2041 0619 hours "You sure I'd be fine without a mask? 'Cause if you're messing with me and I suffocate, I'll haunt you 'till the end of the world." – the girl stated with absolute seriousness as the two stood in the ship's cargo bay, now firmly anchored to the ground by g...

White Forest City, Confederate Armed Forces Headquarters October 2, 2041 1356 hours "Sir, are you sure it was a good decision to settle with a simple investigation?" Tokyo-2, Inner District 5 September 30, 2041 0751 hours " Oi , mate." – mulled Tōji to his ever-present buddy. – "I wonder if Kaworu's alright. Haven't heard of 'im all weekend." "Did you go to his place?" "Nah, I don't even know where he lives. He could've at least given us his phone number or som...

Re: Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

Unknown location September 29, 2041 0236 hours The footage of the battle played again. Every observer was silent, their forms digitally obscured by an artificial light-source-behind-body visual effect within the holographic monoliths that served as their avatars. Not one word was said; the images o...

White Forest City, Confederate Armed Forces Headquarters September 28, 2041 1756 hours In a closed, windowless room, a large table was surrounded by a number of uniformed military officers engrossed in conversation. Holograms of images and recordings passed between them as they discussed the conten...

Re: Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

Unknown location September 28, 2041 1322 hours 'What did I get myself into...?' Kaworu Nagisa was at a complete loss. When he woke up barely an hour and a half ago, he expected a normal day in a normal weekend. And his definition of 'normal', no matter how cool he knew Kensuke would've found such a...

Re: Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

Tokyo-2, Outer District 6 September 28, 2041 1153 hours When the strip of sunlight leaking through the crack in the curtains crept onto his face, Kaworu's eyes cracked open and immediately squinted. Re: Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

Tokyo-2, Inner District 3 1624 hours Checking the address from the printouts one last time, Kaworu looked up at the apartment building before him. The building he spent nearly an hour of walking to get to. At least he had the foresight to ask Mari for directions. He thought about leaving it for lat...

Re: Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

Tokyo-2, 8.5 kilometers below sea level September 27, 2041 Some people liked warmth. That was a perfectly natural thing that applied to everyone... regardless of how natural or unnatural the person in question was. For her part, Rei Ikari happened to like warmth as well. That was part of the reason...

Tokyo-2, Inner District 5 September 26, 2041 As soon as Kaworu walked into the classroom, he felt every eye turn in his direction once more, followed by whispering. Tokyo-2, Inner District 5 September 25, 2041 As soon as the class was dismissed for recess, Kaworu felt a tapping on his shoulder, asking for his attention. Strategic Cyborg Evangelion

As the title might hint, this is a heavily Gundam-inspired AU for Neon Genesis Evangelion I've been tinkering on for years now. I've been reluctant to post it here so far due to its massive size, but I kinda don't have a choice considering that the rules say I must if I'm to open a thread for it and...

Movable frame construction material?

The idea behind the movable frame is easy enough for me to understand: a flexible frame the armor plates are mounted onto rather than integrated, armor plates that may be made of Gundanium, titanium or various alloys of the two. The questions is, what is the frame itself made of? Titanium would be a...

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo

Well, nobody seemed to have cared about my last post. So here's a plot bunny that came to me yesterday. Amuro fails to stop Axis. With the Earth devastated and plunged into mass famine, the Federation collapses practically overnight and the Sides descend into cutthroat infighting over filling in the...

Re: MS Flamethrowers During The OYW

Agreed. If we were to replace a mobile suit's existing integrated weapon with a flamer, I'd now pick the Ground Gundam's multi-launcher. And it could be used as a supplemental weapon in MS combat as well: spraying the other guy's optics with burning napalm would blind them. As far as I can tell, OYW...

Re: MS Flamethrowers During The OYW

A couple of months ago, on another site, I raised the possibility of a mobile suit with flamethrowers instead of head vulcans. It got shot down immediately on the grounds that flamethrowers are way too short-ranged, obstruct vision and are just generally terrible outside their psychological effect.

Re: The number of what ifs in Gundam games

My favorite what-if was that special scenario where Kamille's parents get killed in the crossfire at Gryps and he joins the Titans to get revenge, battling Amuro again and again. So many SEED Destiny vibes there. SO MANY. And let's not forget that special scenario within a special scenario, where Ch...

Re: General Fanfiction Discussion 2: Electric Boogaloo

Well... if the post dates I'm seeing are of any indication, pretty much all posts in this section of the forum are necros. Not that I'm going to necro my own posts, or anything; I'd like to think I'm a bit too old for that. I'm not asking about a story idea; the story is already being posted on Spac...
