Re: In Which I Watch Zeta Gundam
Alrighty then, so this'll be episodes 2-5, I suppose, since things HAVE to be round numbers. We return to Kamille swearing vengeance on the Gundam pilots for bailing him out of serious trouble. Did he really have to take such a roundabout way? There's enough chaos going on that he could have easily ...

Re: In Which I Watch Zeta Gundam
I'm glad you're watching Zeta, and I have no problem with you writing your impressions about it, but long posts like this for every episode are too much. This is a discussion forum, not a personal blog. If you want to write stuff this detailed, put it on a blog. If you want to have something a bit ...

In Which I Watch Zeta Gundam
I have returned from the epitome of valor! The King of Braves has given me the hope and courage to break through all eternal! This power that surges through my veins will stand immortal and drive me to endless victory! ...and then five minutes later I watch the first episode of Zeta Gundam and compl...

Re: Expanding My Horizons
I kinda agree that Latooni in the Fairlion wasn't really my favorite choice. Don't get me wrong. Robots that fight using idol-singer dancing is like, among the best ideas ever. But it doesn't seem like Latooni's thing. She's a skilled tyke bomb ace that tends to act all analytical and robotic, and t...

Re: Expanding My Horizons
Yeah, The Inspector ranks among my favorite shows ever. It's just so...fun! It's a blast to watch without being too drenched in slapstick, and combines Banpresto's inherently quality writing for the game with Obari's ability to make something incredibly watchable (if a bit overloaded in fanservice)....

Re: General Thoughts/Questions on Mechanical Design
True. Still, I was thinking that would require the body to be segmented and taken apart for splitting in half. I was thinking doing something like...a dual ball joint in each half or something that serves the purpose of one in the middle? What the interior of each is like isn't that relevant, as wit...

General Thoughts/Questions on Mechanical Design
This topic will be something of an idea thread or some sort of chatterbox-ish thing where we can ask questions about the concepts of mecha design, or just say what we think about certain things. I'll get us started. So I've been sketching some stuff, and thought of wanting a certain robot to split i...

That in 08th MS-Team Shiro Amada's truly a brave man. He didn't go hide after seeing some young skin :D In fact, he just sat there in the open! Yeah, it's pretty well known that Shiro's kind of a badass. His other parts of characterization may be a bit flollopy, but it's assured that he isn't scare...

Gundam sidestory manga/novels
So, I am well aware of the, quite simply, MASSIVE amounts of extra material in the Gundam universe. So much that I'm not sure if all of it is really worth it. Soo...Which ones do you reccomend, or are vital to understanding the particular universe's workings? The ones I'm more certain about are Cros...

Re: What's Your Current Anime? Mk III
Having a decent time with GaoGaiGar. I'd maybe find it a bit less enjoyable if I'd have watched tons of super robot shows before, but the only ones I have were Mazinkaiser and Gurren Lagann, and those were AGES ago. As it stands, it's a nice thing to watch in between the clump o UC OVAs and Zeta Gun...

Re: Say Mecha Talk, Lets Have a Brave Series Topic!
I'm thinking that, while generally being very very cut-and-dry super robot shows that often feel more toy-driven than anything (even if they may not be), and primarily appealing to a younger audience whose state of mind is "WHOO GIANT ROBOTS BEAT THE BAD GUYS UP" and thusly the story is ve...

Fixed it. I hope.

Re: 2nd Super Robot Wars OG
About that "Evil" unit- I think that, quite possibly, we'll get a tease of J stuff in this game, kinda like how OG1 sorta teased Compact 2 plot, OG2 sorta teased Alpha 2 plot, OGG poked at MX, and with J's plot (particularly Calvina's), it can be poked at as well. Calvina does have some ba...

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
I don't understand why that is. I mean, SRW is responsible for the popularity and existence of many shows. Kotetsushin Jeeg and The Legend of Daiku-Maryu (the former especially) would not exist at all without SRW including their predecessors. Last time I checked, Zone of the Enders, while a good gam...

Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread
Hi, I'm here today to ask you guys to help me find a series I have been looking for for the last 3 years. When I was younger I remember seeing a series that I remember as following (tho I may be wrong on certain facts); I remember the main character was a guy probably late teens early 20's, I THINK...

Hrm, so I thusly finished it. ...I'm still unsure what to think. Nina did get kinda idiotic at the end there, a little, but yeah. Gato died to...destroy a random battleship? Was that one in particular significant or something? Keith was piloting some kind of Zeon machine I believe...right? That part...

Turn A was not the first Gundam to have a stache.

I was about to say, this basically looks like Endless Frontier with flashier animations. And our favorite android gals present in EF seem to have the same sprites.
...eh, at least 75% of the cast doesn't have a cup size that seems to defy both gravity and the alphabet.
