Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, Bridge Ensign Hughes Perin Standing at attention, "Sir, I was not informed as to why I was assigned to the Buxoro. As to my mobile suit, I was under the impression one would be provided to me when I was aboard the ship, but i'm not entirely sure what to make of the current situation. T...

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, bridge elevator Ensign Hughes Perin "Pink MS eh? I guess with colors like that, the Zeon must think they have something to prove." Axis was nothing if not ambitious, thought Hughes, and their leader was bold enough to attack Zedens. It must take quite the leader to orginize a forc...

Re: LMF Gundam: Dominion's Rise Discussion Thread
I have a question about what a pilot would have for thier flight suit. Size wise, would it be thinner, (like, for lack of a better example, the normal suits in Zeta Gundam) or would they be bulkier looking, maybe a bit more primative, I suppose? I know i'm phrasing this question really badly, sorry....

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, Hallway Saluting Lt. J.G. Faraday, "Sir, Ensign Hughes Perin, it's a pleasure, sir." Hughes did his best to hide a shutter as he walked, so the Gate of Zedens was bad as he'd heard, if not worse, it seemed. If Zedens had fallen and the Titans were forced to retreat this far, it re...

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, Hallway Following Lt. Elijah, Hughes was none less nervous. Focusing back on what the matter at hand, namely the course of the war which, all things considered, felt like something he needed to ask someone participating in it. "Sir, forgive my ignorance, but was this ship at The Gate o...

Re: What's Your Current Manga?
I've just started reading Appleseed, good story but i'm not to big on Shirow's mechanical designs though, but it's still good. Also reading 20th Century Boys, and it is pretty epic and awesome. I'm also working my way through Vagabond. Working my way through might not be the right words since I can ...

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, Hallway Hughes stopped and upon seeing a superior, the first he'd seen since he arrived, straightend his posture and threw a salute to the Lieutent with the cane. "Sir, Engsign Hughes Perin reporting for duty sir." Breathing a sigh of relief, Hughes wondered how he could bring up ...

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, hallway Having taken in his fill of the mobile suits in the hanger, Hughes decided it was time to make his way to the pilot's lounge. It'd be good to see what kind of food the Buxoro had in it's stocks, also what the pilots he'd be serving with were like. He feared he'd not be up to snuff c...

Re: ZEON Show
Really? I thought the whole point of the OYW was for Side 3 to gain full independance from earth. So what was the reason for the war? I was under the impression Side 3 only became formally independant following the OYW as the Republic of Zeon, and Zeon Daikun's Republic of Zeon wasn't 'legitamite' i...

Re: ZEON Show
I wouldn't mind a Zeon based show where Zeon flat out loses. Does the protagonist have to win? I wouldn't mind a show based around a Zeon MS team (Like the 08th MS team) that fights, gradually loses members throughout the show, winning and losing battles but losing skilled pilots and being thrown in...

Re: Andrew W.K. and Gundam??
Soldiers of Sorrow is pretty great, I can't really get into his other cover songs though. Char Ga Kuru just doesn't feel right in English to me. His opening dialouge about the One Year War is pretty sweet though. He's got a cool voice. I feel bad talking about his odd word choices and pacing in some...

Re: Latest Gundam/Mecha Merchandise thread (2008-2009)
@Thechoort: that's probably the Zeta v1.0 you got if you say it doesn't have a base/stand. it's not that bad, just don't transform it from MS to WR mode too often. Ok, that's sorta a relief. The review on MAHQ tore into it pretty good, I was worried I spent 40 bucks on a garbage model kit, which wo...

Re: Episode 22 - Conspire [TE]
Buxoro, Hanger Ensign Hughes Perin looked over the mobile suits being worked on by the maintenance crews. They looked to be in fighting order, all but one were perfectly fine. They had their dings and damages, but from what Hughes had heard about the Hizack line, they were solidly built machines. N...

Re: Latest Gundam/Mecha Merchandise thread (2008-2009)
I bought a Mark 2 (I think a real new kind, it say's 2.0 on it) and a Zeta Gundam, both MG model kits, at NYAF. I'm still prtty novice at working on model kits (I made some wing models years and years ago), so i'm pretty nervous, but I made the Mark 2's leg, and while compex heck, it's really cool a...

Re: Gundam emblem badges released for 30th anniversary.
The timeline of Gundam heads is really cool. It's so cool seeing how all the heads fit a common design motif except for little unique changes. The (rather plain) rx-78 head then just morphing to the 00 is neat.
The Turn-A sticks out a little though

Re: Member Introduction Thread Mk. III
Hello! I'm a big mecha fan, Gundam in particular. I love pretty much any real robot show, the whole idea is just awesome.
Also i'm big into anime in general. As to what came first for me, my love of mecha or my love of anime? Well....I dunno!
