Re: Repair Capabilities onboard a Musai or Chivvay
Also we do frequently see supply ships in various Gundam series (Papua in FG, Debatably La Vie En Rose in Operation Stardust and the Gryps and Neo Zeon Wars, The Squid Class repair ship in Victory Gundam, The Marseille III class and Gondwana class in the Cosmic Era, etc). Plus the After War Era (wh...

Re: Guncannon and Guntank
the Guncannon actually has more suits decended from it thanks to the RGC line of suits where they decided to use the RGM frames to extend the guncannon line even the Jegan had a RGC model the RGC-90-Jegan Heavy Equipment Type from CCA-MSV. https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/RGC-90_Jegan_Heavy_Equipment_...

Re: The Gundam F91?
BESPA was basically the SNRI Side 2 that was taken over by Zancare. its likely some of there MS started life as F series suits with Gundam style armor but got moved to the Bug look. You know it would be pretty funny if beneath the Bugfaces there was a Gundam face, kind of like the old Dijeh kits. w...

Re: California Base?
So was the base decommissioned, or was it destroyed in a later conflict? So, to point out the obvious... like most locations in Gundam , it's only ever discussed if it's directly relevant a story and otherwise might as well cease to exist the instant it's not relevant anymore. The base's fate is un...

Re: The Gundam F91?
As for the Victory, Seto seemed to suggest that the suit was a highly powerful unit, that was modified to look like a Gundam(likely to follow the Gundams historical significance). Given the relatively lower funding of the League Militarie this make a lot of sense. Not modified to look like a Gundam...

Re: Why was the Qubeley mass produced?(SPOILERS)
Neo Zeon did lack in Human Resources as they were a smaller particularly remote settlement; as a result many of their soldiers were children of the Zeon refugees from the OYW, and even then they still needed to get civilian volunteers from neutral colonies. Look at the early make up of the soldiers...

Re: Why was the Qubeley mass produced?(SPOILERS)
the Queen Mansa was the Qubeley tech tree reconnected haphazardly to it's divergent Titans funded Federal Newtype labs tech tree. in the just TV cannon the Neo-Zeon forces of Axis salvaged and repaired the Psycho Gundam MK II so they could use it as a captured test unit for there own research and to...

Re: Rick Dias and Nemo
. SNRI seems to be more of a "if we are funding someone, might as well be our own guys" type of mentality. Huh? I think SNRI become manufacturer themselves when they realize how Anaheim become incompetent as a developer, after they took so long to made the Heavygun and it's essentially ju...

Re: Rick Dias and Nemo
For why the Dias line got canned it was the fact it looked to Zeonic for the AEUG vsame reasion they dropped the Marasai for the Nemo. the Nemo is basically a MP GM sniper II unit with zeonic parts inside. the major reasion it's more attractive to the cash strapped AEUG is the fact it can use any w...

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I
So if Funnel Missiles and Beam Rifles are extras, does that mean Funnels themselves also come with replacements? Look at any battle with Funnels against a Gundam, and you'll see they need extras. Also since Anaheim sells to the highest bidder, what does that mean for the Messer? Was it originally m...

Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Mecha Thread Mk I
My first thought was maybe bits/funnels don't work well on Earth due to atmospheric flight, been a while but I thought I remember funnels on the earth arc of ZZ. Then I wondered if funnels are only usable by certain Newtypes and Hathaway just isn't able to control them accurately enough so guided m...

Re: Act Zaku Development
Based on what I've read, the Act Zaku and Gelgoog were competing programs... two fundamentally different concepts for a next-generation Mobile Suit that were developed in parallel and shared a lot of the same technology. The Act Zaku that was developed at Pezun could best be described as the true/o...

Re: Beam saber or beam naginata?
I have been wondering why did Zeonic had the Gelgoog Marine and Jaeger using beam sabers instead beam naginata like the previous model? Is this because beam sabers are both easier to use and cheaper to make--I can imagine pilot scared of cutting themselves while using the beam naginata. On the othe...

Re: Zaku II F2 Anti-Air Weapon
Ah that's right! The red portion of the original RX78-2 was from the Core Fighter. In that case I suppose we can still chalk it up to Gundam having that super robot influence from transforming / combining shows like Combattler V. More of a rule of cool than anything practical. I am surprised with t...
