Re: The Amuro's speech in CCA...

Wow, been a minute since I've posted here. Anyhoo... By far, I think Char is the most enthralling, multi-layered character in any Gundam universe. I would go into detail as to why, but you all already have. Really, I can't think of too many fictional people who have so many hills and valleys in thei...

Back from Japan--Now graduation and Work!!

Wow, it's been a minute since I've been back here. Oh, by minute, I mean about a year and a half, maybe. By far, one of the most challenging things I've done, but I was fortunate enough to make it happen. I spent a year studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. Needless to say, awesome experience. I studied ...

Re: Andrew W.K. and Gundam??

I disagree about Soldiers of Sorrow. The lyrics are intense, but that song doesn't work in English, IMHO. Besides, I think the Japanese version is more impactful because it sounds so campy in spite of what the lyrics entail. The Beginning and The Encounter were all right. Alone in the Wind and Amuro...

I thought the whole Exia Gundam "killing" RX-78-2....I mean O Gundam, lol....was supposed to be symbolic. To me, it seemed pretty clear the next step for the setting of the 00 universe is outside the traditional Earth-sphere. Well that's my two cents.

@ Sher0uz Yeah, I remember when I first started watching Code Geass, I said, "Wow, they combined Gundam Seed and Death Note. This is pretty awesome!" But that description is WAY too vague for the 2nd season of Code Geass. This 2nd season is on a whole 'nother level. WIth what....7 episode...

Wait, so does that mean the beam rifle was a better weapon than Rick Dias' own beam pistols?

To me, there Dilly had no intention for mass production of the Impulse. I figure he gave the order for an MS design similar and superior to the Strike because the Strike was simply just that damn good. So he makes two or three more units. Why not? It's a pretty darn good MS. But I think there's also...

Hmm. First off, I must say Jeremiah is taking the fact that Zero is Lelouch suprisingly well. Hmm. Then again, I guess we'll see if that holds true once they actually meet in person. I'm sad the Guren is going to become a Britannian KMF, as it only had like two episodes of action in its upgraded for...

I hadn't realized that. Thanks for the correction.

In defense of Heero Yuy, he basically never survived unscathed, either snapping his own leg back in it's proper place and being half carried away or being covered in bandages/cast and comatose for an unspecified but hinted at being lengthy amount of time. Also he is canonically a near emotionless w...

I'd actually like something that isn't based on any used engine or format, as I can't help but feel that I'm playing the same game over and over again. Mind you, if this PS2 00 game turns out to be unique and fun, regardless of it's quality, I'll be happy. But I'm crossing my fingers on that one......

Hmmm. I liked the Gawain. It had this had this whole Anubis look going on, and I thought it made an appropriate command, flag-unit for Zero. It obviously wasn't made for close-combat frontline fighting, but it could sit far in the background a blast everything to bits. Meh, we'll see what's up with ...

Well, she's officially the "11th Princess" of Britannia(similar to Euphie being 3rd, Cornelia 2nd, and Schneizel 2nd Prince). That tends to be organized along birth order, seemingly, as Odysseus, the 1st Prince, is noted to be politically stagnant in the turf war of the royal palace. Nuna...

Wow, I've got to be online more often. I've been missing out on some great conversations going on around here :) . Anyway, something I wanted to see if someone could clear up for me. I think it was like episode 2 or 3 of season 1 where Lulu says he's 17th in line for the Britannian throne. Then, if ...

Kamen Rider 2008 (Kamen Rider Kiva) is fairly entertaining. It's not as dark as the Kabuto series, but it isn't as kiddy as Den-O. Basically, a safe middle.

Long time no see Kishiria. Congrats on the degree. That's an awesome achievement. In regards to 00, I guess you'll be at the forefront of analyzing the theological theme...

Trust me, Britannia may occupy the Americas, but in no way is Code Geass meant to be a critique of American policy, now or ever. This notion actually made the rounds around the time the show began airing, with some people even pledging to boycott the US release. Eventually, an interviewer asked Tan...

I'd like to point out that even if Kallen's memories were altered by a Geass then it's likely (like Lelouche) C.C. was able to undo it. I think the most important questions right now are "where is Nunnally?" and "was Rollo part of the plot or another victim of altered memories?"...

I'm in the mindset that, even if Graham could restore his face to what it was before his final battle with Setsuna (assuming his face is scarred and it was a direct result from that battle), I don't think he'd want to. He's very prideful, and he might want to keep his scars that way as a constant r...

It really doesn't help if you have old pencil-pushers like Djibril who don't know crap about fighting. All they pretty much know how to do was to use shock-and-awe techniques without having back-ups. Take the Destroy for example. It was on paper a really powerful design capable of unleashing hell. ...
