Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk V
Honestly it was the fact that Bright cooperated with the Sleeves that annoyed me the most about this episode. It's totally in character for him to be suspicious of Federation high command, he's even outright rebelled against them in the past, but to cooperate with Neo-Zeon? He basically set the Gene...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk V
I like this episode for the action scenes and character interactions, especially the fight between Banagher and Marida, but I don't care for where the plot's going. The earlier eps seemed to have a recurring theme that both sides of the war were both good and bad, but now it seems like it's taking a...

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II
So the UE are humans of some sort. I suspected as much, but I actually was hoping they'd be aliens. My bet is on them being some human faction that got screwed over by the Federation somehow, coming back for revenge. Whatever started the war, you can bet there will be a BIG REVEALtm that the Federat...

Re: RIP Elisabeth Sladen
I wonder if they'll show the episodes of Sarah Jane Adventures that she did manage to film before she passed. IIRC she was half-way through the season. maybe a day-long marathon as some sort of tribute?

Help me pick a game to import
So a while back I had my first experience importing games from our wacky friends across the pacific, and it went fairly well, The prices seemed a bit high, but the games I ended up getting (Macross Ultimate frontier and Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT Plus) were enjoyable. I've decided to import another game...

Re: Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 at TGS'10
So anyone who's imported this or seen vids of it, Wikipedia says there are "history missions" (kinda like the official mode from the first two.) available for the AU series like Wing and SeeD, but I can't find any video of it. Please tell me I get to slice up Leos and Ginns at some point?

I could've sworn there was supposed to be some continuation of the series.
Bah. I'm probably just confusing it with the 00 movie.

Re: trailer for the new Macross Frontier movie (I think).
Wasn't the second Frontier movie supposed to be a sequel?
Are they still doing a sequel movie, or are they just re-doing the series for the big screen?

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)
Quick Question. Does anyone here know how to beat the "loyalist" paths in Gundam Seed: Rengou Vs. Z.A.F.T. Portable for the PsP? In the path where you switch from the EA to Orb, you get an ending with credits and everything when you beat the last story mission, but for the loyalist path, b...

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)
Ok, I figured out how to avoid switching sides in Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. Portable, but the O.M.N.I. campaign just sort of..... ends, at mission 99. There's no credits sequence or anything. Is it possible to get both paths in one go? I've seen save-games online with 100% campaign completion, How do I ge...

Re: Any Mech novel recommendations?
There is indeed a 40k novel based on Titans, it's called Titanicus, and it is awesome.
Other good recommendations are some of the Classic Battletech books, (avoid dark age and age of destruction like the fucking plague) but I don't really know where you can get those anymore.

Re: General Gaming Help. (possible spoilers)
So I got a couple of imported PSP games, and i've mostly figured out how to use them, but i'm stuck on one part. In Gundam SeeD Rengou vs. ZAFT portable, how do I remain with my original alliance in the mission mode? Every time I try to play campaign I end up defecting to those pussies in ORB. Is th...

Clone Wars Season 2
I'd have made a thread about this earlier, but well, I just plain forgot. Is anyone else watching this? It seems like the animation is slightly better than the last season, and we finally have a villian who isn't made of fail, so it might be pretty good.

Re: First Mechwarrior, Now this?
Alliance's story mode is pretty fun, with the family missions providing a nice distraction from fighting the Empire all the time.lans* wrote: Rebel Alliance is quite good with some storyline and campaign.
Although a couple of the missions are horribly broken in terms of balance and difficulty.

Nor can you kill off a franchise owned by EA.
That concept art and RA3's micro-shittieness doesn't give me high hopes for this game.
I know the devs are saying this is going to be the last Tiberian game, but come on, it's fucking EA.

Battletech's "Unseen" return.

I don't know what everyone's so happy about. I prefer the original re-designs with the exception of the marauder and the locust.

Re: Warhammer 40k titans. What can kill them.
Don't the Larger Imperator-class titans mount (and resist) capital ship weaponry? IIRC capship weapons in 40K are in the gigaton range, so you'd need something pretty powerful in order to crack them open. Pretty much nothing in the Gundamverse puts out that kind of firepower. We're literally talking...
