Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk III

So apparently Flit goes Newtype-y and Yurin is some sort of a fugitive. *munches on chocolate bar* Fugitive, no. She was definitely sold out by her adoptive father and taken by Eden for her X-Rounder abilities (and maybe her connection to Flit as the Gundam pilot). Also Desil appears to be an x-Rou...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XVII

Probably wouldn't have needed a TDS either; Reborns supposedly performed as well as it did despite the inferior output of the Tau TDS because it had a more advanced frame. Assuming both suits were completely intact aside from 00 losing one binder, with one original drive Reborns would presumably ou...

Re: 4th Gundam Fight: Final Gambit: Discussion thread.

Consider this a tentative expression of interest, based on how the next few days play out.

If I do join, and it's still free, I'm thinking Neo-Greece and am tossing up between inventing a close-combat focussed Ares Gundam, or a more balanced Cerberus Gundam. I hoestly can't decide :?

- Dervish - - Hanger - The silence in the hanger was deafening. Adam had sat down onto the edge of the cockpit hatch, his answers to the Doc's question forgotten. Not a superstitious man, Adam still felt chills. This is a bad sign he thought to himself, shaking his head at the timing, so close to Gr...

He suddenly came back to himself and realised that he had spaced out, staring at the pages uncomprehendingly. He put down the thick shea...

im surprised they survived there trip running low on fuel, cold etc. I believe I read that almost all warships going between the Belt and the Earth have to resupply en route (where exactly I don't know), except for the Gwazine class ships, which can carry enough food and parts for the entire journey...

Re: The Official 00 Mecha Thread Mk XVI

The way it reads to me sounds like there are (two) completely new GN Drives installed in the Qan[T].

I put two in parentheses because IIRC, Japanese doesn't convey pluralisation, only explicitly counting things (i.e. two of x)

Re: Question on GN Drives in 00

Yes, actually there are. 1) The fifth Drive was used by 0 Gundam, seen by Setsuna at the very beginning of the series. As of the TV series it is being used by another branch of Celestial Being, known as Fereshte as told in the side-story 00F. This plays a fairly significant role in the second half. ...

Nice to have confirmation that Soma isn't going to be sitting on the sidelines (or Hallelujah, judging by which eye he's showing). I suppose this nixes the idea of a Marute unit but it does make you wonder if Harute has some gimmick that hasn't been made apparent yet; right now the machine doesn't ...

Re: Comparison of UC and AD Tech

As AD gundams have no thrusters , GN particles also provide propulsion. Only half true as certain GN mecha actually have GN Thrusters, most notably the Dynames (waist), Cherudim (back), Kyrios and Arios (legs). The Drive Cone seen on other mecha (Exia, GN-X, 00, Ahead, etc.) also incorporate GN Thr...

I actually should point out that in this neo zeon war the match up in forces was back to the same conditions as the end of the OYO. Chars forces are kids in advanced ms fighting a larger federal force with less advanced units but better trained in there use. Char built a merger of his gelgoog and t...

Re: Who controls the space colonies' day/night cycling?

You use real life examples but what about for people in regions that don't have the "average" day cycles like the poles? Or even the people in the space station. A lot of people were born in space like that so I don't think the same reasoning would apply here. But the colonist came from E...
