Re: Neo Zeon's desert MS and ships, OYW relics?
 I always hated that thing. Personally, I don't see why they would made it in the OYW when they had the Samson , which is the same thing without beam guns, and also doesn't look like an abomination. The seems like the sort of eccentric thing Neo Zeon would have come up with, crazy coots. Besid...

Re: The Hyakushiki was quite an incredible machine all in all
Is that really a retcon, or was that mentioned somewhere in the specs? The V2-Assault mode has it too, and I don't remember it ever being mentioned in the series itself. What I'm really asking is when did it first get mentioned?

What's with "N-I, II and III" displayed in ships
I have been recently watching MSG and Zeta and noticed N-I and N-II ect. labeled all over the White Base and Argama. I thought it might be just door markings, but then saw it all over the place (never seeming to be larger then N-III). Some random wall segments on Argama's bridge have it on there, an...

Re: What was the Federation capital during OYW?
Jaburo was the HQ for the EFF during the OYW, that doesn't mean it's there capital. The way its seems in UC the actual EF government seems like a joke, with most of the big decisions come from the Military. I don't see any reason why the capital wouldn't have been the Capital at during the OYW (othe...

Re: Question about the ZZ Gundam
Well the show doesn't have it zipping around as much as the Zeta did, especially not in it FA version. I don't know that I got a good feeling for it in the show though for whatever reason. I would assume the extra goodies it has onboard would take away from the quickness of the unit.

Re: Minovsky craft mounted suits
Just one thing. Where did you get this description of the Minovsky Drive? It certainly wasn't in the show itself. Also wasn't it SNRI that designed the first minovsky drive for the F99? F99? I've never even heard of that, and as far as I know, the Minovsky Drive was a brand new thing when it was sl...

Re: Zanzibar II class MS catapult mechanism
Here's a semi-related question. Does anyone know if the Dolos-class catapults launched in a standing or a laying-down fashion? Because if it was the latter it only show that that it was an even more flawed design. Also semi-related thing I've wondered. In EOS (and some other places not necessarily G...

Re: Zanzibar II class MS catapult mechanism
Here we go, something to talk about! As far as I know there aren't any other folding or hidden catapults in UC that I can remember. The White Ark does that Battle Mode thing that I thought was silly, but nothing with catapults. I can see fold-out catapults having advantages and disadvantages. Like h...

Re: Zanzibar II class MS catapult mechanism
Yea, they show it in the short "The Mayfly of Space" (It's on the 2nd 0083 DVD IIRC in the extras) rather well, where those screenshots are from. All the other Zanzibar ships didn't have catapults, and would launch their suits by just dumping them out of a big door on the underside of the ...

Re: classic mecha games that we should all play
Since when is a PS1 and PS2 games considered classic? Am I really that old? Anyway, Metal Warriors for the SNES is what I consider a classic. One of the first mech games I had ever played. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Warriors I wouldn't really call PS2 games classic yet, but I definitely the...

Re: What do the Zeta-era MS model numbers refer to?
I smell BS, but I digress, because while I don't really care about what the numbers mean that much, I am interested in what the RX, RMS, NRX, RMV, PMX, RGC, MRX, ORX, ect. all stand for Well, this has been explained exactly the same way in the Japanese publications for more than twenty years. This ...

Re: What do the Zeta-era MS model numbers refer to?
So it's all just coincidence that the Hizack ends in a 06 and looks just like a zaku, the Marasai ends with 08 and looks just like a Efreet, the Galbaldy Beta end in a 17 and looks like identical to the Alpha and the Gundam ends in a 78 and is...a gundam. Plus the fact that the GM II ends in a 79 in...

That seems rather incorrect unless its supposed to be the other way around. The AEUG doesn't seem like its even close to that big.Roughly half the Federation Forces were AEUG members

Variable Suit Cockpits
I recently built a Zeta model and discovers that it cockpit flips around and ends up on the nose of the WR like an airplane, something I wondered for a long time but didn't feel like freeze framing during the series to figure out how the pilot corrected its self. Rather cool design really (though I'...

Re: Just Finished SDF Macross
Man oh Man, some scenes in DYRL are just plain awesome slo-mo or frame by frame, the animation detail is astounding! Honestly I couldn't stand Macross 7 (actually was the first Macross series I started to watch, and it turned me off completely for like 4 years wondering what all the hubbub was all a...

I've kept all mine, and store the smaller ones in the larger ones as many as I can. I store runner's of the MG ones and extra part in some of them, and currently keep them in box's behind my couch. I really don't know why I keep them though (I actually still have the box for every one of my anime me...

Again, the sources say it can bust any shield of any planet, and its is designed to do that. That's the whole point. I have no idea where you are getting the numbers for the Eclipse's power, thus I asked for a source, so please give that, as I have provided sources to oppose. The Eclipse cannon is s...
