Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

Ah, thank you, I forgot that the regular version is different from the Earth Ground Grazes which have the hover like thing. But I haven't seen the regular configuration used for space at all... its been ground only, that was my assumption then.

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

^Meh, Hush would have been toasted either way. Worth noting that the Graze he's fighting has the space configuration as well. Nope, the Space Graze has those hyaku shiki like binders/thrusters, the land Graze has boosters in the back of the waist. I just watched it again, its been consistent in bot...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Alright, I apologize if it seemed that I took our disagreement as antagonism, and sometimes discussions do get a bit heated, I can own up to that. Its just some of your speculation goes a bit overboard sometimes without some of it seeming plausible, like Angnika talking down the mobile armors in the...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Hush's demise might be related that the Hekija is a high mobility suit that was meant for space battles, its not as effective in ground battles, and Hush wasn't that good of a pilot either, he also did the dumb mistake of fighting alone with no support nearby and didn't pay attention which he said h...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

I mentioned it in the anime thread, but it was a bad idea for Hush to use the Hekija as it seemed to specialize in space battles and the way that high mobility suits are used in IBO is space only. If it equipment specialized for ground combat that would be different, because the Rouei and Graze/Regi...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

I'm not being antagonistic with you sdwoodchuck, but you seem to try hard to make your opinion a fact, especially with the writing part of the show. Its one thing to disagree with the writing of the show, its another thing to say the writing should have gone like this because you think it should hav...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

I think Hush has come a long way in the end compared to how he was in the beginning of season 1, he started off as a glory hound and was all bark with no bite. Yes he wanted to prove he was worth something after seeing his gang leader off himself in his backstory. But he got a dose of reality in his...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

I noticed that Hush made a good number of mistakes which did lead to his demise... 1. He wasn't paying attention which he said himself of course. 2. He went out in the Hekija which is a specialized MS for Space Combat, as its a high mobility unit, I'm also basing this on how the high mobility suits ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk IV

Is there any info about the Gusion Full City's space booster pack and weapons? Its weapon is a railgun. Not sure about the caliber or if it's more powerful than the 300 smoothbore cannons. I'm not sure if it a railgun or not. Cause the only other railguns we saw on the Flauros and Iok's Reginglaze ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

Oh yeah, I fully agree the pseudo-AV has all the advantages without the drawbacks, but I think it might also be that Ein had 3 implants, so the system might be the equivalent of that, compared to the 1 implant that McGillis had. More implants leads to better integration/performance of the AV system....

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk III

The Kimaris Vidar didn't seem to go into overdrive mode the way the Barbatos had, its performance seemed about the same as when it activated against the Barbatos when fighting against the Bael. I don't know if the Ein AV even knows or goes through the limiter for the Gundam's performance, because it...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

I wonder if Sunrise would be interested or is pondering about making a OVA/movie about the Calamity War. Unlike other past conflicts in other shows (Age) there are more remnants of it that still plague the world in IBO. Seeing humanity unite to fight the threat of extinction from their own creation ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Hmm... I think I can understand why McGillis never fully trusted Gaileo or tried to bring him in on his ambitions to overthrow Gjarrhorn. Given the harsh life he grew up in and the constant abuse he went through with Izanario, he resents Gjarrhorn and the world they represent. In this world, adults ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Yeah... I'm not gonna bother telling sdwoodchuck anymore to stop talking as if he knows what the writers are thinking... just because its not the way he wanted things to go does not mean the show was rewritten or not what the writers had in mind... Over speculating and over analyzing... You can just...

Re: Chaos Theater Mailbag Drop Box

Got some more questions to keep the FIRE going! 8) 1. Are there any examples you guys can think of Studio interference helping a movie out rather than hurting it? Given how its a massive problem with Fox and DC studios with various franchises. 2. I apologize if this has been asked before because I c...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

In the end McGillis didn't have a master plan via resurrecting a MA nor betray Tekkadan after all, I don't really understand why there was a lot of speculation McGillis would betray Tekkadan because it doesn't match his actions throughout both seasons, aside from luring Carta towards them in season ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk IV

Well.... Nobliss was the one who ordered the hit on Orga, it wasn't a surprise given how much of a backstabber and shady guy he was, but surprisingly enough, McGillis died too, gravely injured and outside the Bael, but not before wrecking a lot of havok on Rustal's fleet, Kimaris Vidar got damaged ...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Mecha Thread Mk IV

A repaired Flauros will take a LOT of time to get repair much less retrofitted. Because it was heavily damaged even up to the inner frame. If its been a couple of weeks since the space fleet battle then its possible. And it might be a bit faster if Vidar's spare parts are applied, given all Gundam f...
