The more I see of the RE GP04, the more I'm disappointed by lack of detail and the more I want the NG 1/100 line to come back with its near MG quality but without the inner frame.

I've watched 15 episodes, and quite frankly, I don't care about anything happening, which ironically is about the same feeling I got from Eureka 7. The MS designs are just painful to look at and the animation has not gotten any better. It would seem that Build Fighters is getting the better effort.

I think they've reached the point where all instances of mobile suits and battles in Gundam series need to be CG now.

Someone on ebay is selling a 3rd party made 1/100 2x Caletvwlch kit for both Red and Blue Frame. I bought two and I have to say the quality is pretty good. It's not a resin kit, it's plastic and molded in color so painting isn't required. The kit has a mount for a 3rd sword if you want to go all out...

Also consider that as far kit design goes, the MG F-91 and Crossbone kits aren't that great. They came out when Bandai was attempting to go polycapless on their MGs, with mixed results. They're not as bad as the MG V kits, but they're still kinda bland and unimpressive.

I have to say, the MG AGE-1 does not impress me in any way. Boring boring.

At least this series doesn't have the same tired "we just want peace" / we shouldn't fight / shoot the cameras and weapons only crap of SEED, and it doesn't have the main character whining constantly about war and killing like in Unicorn. It's a war. I will give it props for these.

I've gotten real sick of the "supernatural" nature of the psyco-com. Just shoot at each other and be done with it.
