About Reading Reviews...

It would be nice if I could go from one review to the next without having to go back to the previous page or opening multiple tabs. A drop down window would also be nice to make navigation of reviews quicker and easier.

Re: Frame Arms Girl

Saw the first episode and didn't care much for it. There was too much disservice. I really don't Ned to see constant panty shots from toys.

Re: Fafner THE BEYOND announced

I am just now watching Exodus. I hope it turns out better than you guys say it will. And even if it doesn't, I still welcome the news. I liked the other entries in this franchise. Also, I think it is a shame that every season there are fewer and fewer mecha anime being produced. I think the up comin...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

I wonder if there will be a third season for Iron Blooded Orphans. This far in, we should at least get a glimpse of what the end game scenario will be. Right now, the show is just going through the motions. I suspect the ending for this season will leave the possibility open for another one.

Re: Star Wars Rogue One

I watched the Redlettermedia review and I have not seen the movie, please let everything they said be wrong!!!! While I think better of the film than they did, they are right for the most part. People have a better opinion of the movie simply because of the Star Wars name, if it were called somethi...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

I know it probably won't happen, but wouldn't it be interesting if our masked man ended up being Carta Issue in an artificial body instead of who it seemingly is. Would be a tremendous swerve, IMO.

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I

Well, all things considered that does seem plausible, in my opinion. Delta is set in 2067. The original series was set in around 2009 or thereabouts. IIRC Minmay was around 19 at the time, so she would be something like 77 years old as of the time of Delta. However, if you take the time spent in th...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096 Anime Thread Mk I

I actually liked episode 4, it's the only one I can recall what happened from start to finish. I'd love to see an extension of the Zeon remnants against the Federation.

Re: The Official Macross Delta Anime Thread Mk I

Personally, I have found the love triangle to be low key this season, more so than in anything recent, maybe ever. Hayate hasn't shown any real interest in anyone, which makes me believe this love triangle will not be resolved. I have a theory for the series moving forward. I believe Mikumo will be ...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-V

Premise might be similar but there isn't much mechanical about the dolls. The dolls are 100% mechanical and are no different from the Hoshino gunpla at the end of Gundam Build Fighters Try. ... I didn't like, however, the whole Lady Kawaguchi thing. I thought at first she was his successor, but ins...

Re: The Official Gundam Build Fighters Try Anime Thread Mk-V

Okay, I know I am late to the party but I have finally seen Gundam Build Fighters. I avoided it because I thought it was going to be something like SD Gundam, which I don't particularly care for, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually really liked this show. Sei and Reiji worked off ea...

Re: The Official Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Thread Mk

And this first episode has restored my fan-ness! It did a much better job of introducing the characters and setting than the last couple of Gundam shows I've tried to watch I felt the same way. I was put off by G Reco initially. Had no problem with this one. I'm also getting a bit of a Relena vibe ...

Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk III

I just finished G-Reco after dropping early after the first two episodes during its run, and I have to say, it turned out better than I thought it would be. Given how Gundam fans were reacting to it, I thought it was going to be as bad as Seed Destiny or Age. At first I did not find the character de...

Re: It's Gundam Wing's 20th anniversary

I had never even heard of Gundam before Wing aired, and I'm glad it did. I've probably seen every episode at least ten times, though it has been years since I last saw it. I probably would never have seen MSG, Zeta and Victory were it not for Wing.

Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk III

I intended to come back to the series about half way through so I could watch a whole bunch of eps in one go to see if it come across better but I recently found out the series has ended. My question is, was it intended to always be that short (which is a first for a standard TV series, the shortes...

Re: The Official Gundam Reconguista Anime Thread Mk III

I've been out of the loop Gundam wise for a while now. I saw the first couple eps of Gundam Reconguista in G but had two problems: 1. the character designs looked too old school for my tastes. It was like watching something from the 70s with today's animation 2. the story progression seemed weaker t...

Re: Magical Girls

Honestly Madoka isn't as good as everyone says it is. It's still pretty good but too overly reliant on characters holding the idiot ball for the sake of having a bunch of plot twists. It relies too much on shock value to trick the audience into believing it's better than it really is. Could you ela...

CCS and Corrector Yui were the only magical anime I ever thought were good. That is until I saw Madoka Magica. It blows both of those shows out of the water.

Re: Geneshaft

I saw Geneshaft years ago. It used to air on TechTv's Anime Unleashed block. It's been almost a decade since I last saw it but I remember that it had a good story and characters. Death count was surprisingly high, too. I definitely should re-watch this.
